Help! I have $L -1, how did this happen.

I haven't been logged on for a while and and I know I had zero linden dollars last time I was on.

Today I logged on I noticed I have negative one linden dollars!!! How did this happen?

It happens because you are a member of a group, where members have to pay abilities, for some of the expenses a group has. Typically the weekly fee of 30L a week to LL, for having a land in the search-function, is divided between group members.

Try to look at the groups in your profile - look if you in one of them has a role, where you have to pay abilities...Then leave the group, or ask the group-owner if he/she can make a new role for those of you, who does not want to pay these expenses.

Hi Genius,

You may belong to a group that shares liabilities (like advertising costs). Your transaction history may show a debit by that group if it happened in the last 32 days. To eliminate further liabilities, leave any groups that have them.

I think some viewers use L$-1 as a placeholder when they can't get your accurate Linden balance for some reason (others use L$20.) In any event your true Linden balance will be the one in your "Account Dashboard" on this website.
