I am trying to purchase Lindens, message says there is a problem with my payment method

The most likely problem is that you are trying to use a card that isn't accepted by Linden Lab, or you are trying to use a PayPal account that is not "verified" (i.e., backed up by a major credit card or bank account.)

If you are using PayPal, AND have verified it, BUT you used a bank account instead of a major credit card, then you must also have enough money in the PayPal account to cover your purchase.  LL will not wait several days for a funds transfer from your bank (even though they make US wait several days, when funds go the other way.)

It's also possible that your card issuer has flagged the transaction with Linden Lab as possible fraudulent activity.  You'll need to contact LL Billing, and then your credit card company, to straighten that out.
