how can i convert a snapshot into a texture?

Question: What do you need it for? You can also use snapshots if you want to assign a texture to a prim.

If you really want to convert it, you have to save the snapshot to your local harddrive by open the snapshot and select "Save texture" from the "File" menu (this only works if you have full permissions for the snapshot) and then uploading it again.

well, i want to place a sl picture into a frame, but all i got is snapshoots, and the instructions of my fame are demanding a texture not a snapshoot. you think i don,t necessarly need a texture?

It should also work with a snapshot. Scripts don't differentiate between snapshot and texture. For them it's the same.
