How to make a script that IMs or Notifies when then touched.

Hello,

I was wondering how to create a basic script that sends me an IM or notifies me when it has been touched by someone. I'm wanting to make an LM giver for my store.

Take a look at the touch_start event (it's in the default New Script).   Take a look, too, at the functions llDetectedKey(), llGiveInventory(), and llInstantMessage().

Sending an IM would not be very clever with that type of notification. Be better to store the info and send a block of info at maybe 2 hour intervals by email.

All you have to do is to include the llInstantMessage in the first example

Could do but I have a busy shop and don't get that many per day that it's a bother, although I can configure mine to only send IM's when i'm online.  Either way, I understand what you're getting at but I doubt it will be an issue in terms of frequency of LMs given.

A method to turn it off though would be worth considering.
