Hello, RawScoe

Did you look at your Linden dollar balance just inworld, or did you check via the website/your dashboard?

Your balance should be the same as it was the last time you used your account; unless you are in a group that makes charges to your avatar that are automatically taken from your Linden dollar balance.

Recent transactions (up to 45 days) shows up in your account history.

(Click on the Second Life logo at the top of this screen to go to your dashboard, and select from menu at left hand side to view account history.)

You can contact the billing department for free.

If you were a Premium member, and did not have a valid payment method on file when your membership renewal was billed, then a couple of things might have happened.

1.  LL might have used your $L balance to pay your membership fee.  This is unlikely, though, they usually do not accept $L as payment.

2.  They deleted your account.  This is one of the major drawbacks to a Premium account.  Basic accounts are never removed by LL, but if you owe money on a Premium account, they'll cancel your account.  You MAY be able to get it back, by paying a $10 reinstatement fee, but they won't guarantee that your money or inventory will be intact.

3.  It's also possible that someone else got access to your account, maybe through a phishing scam that induced you to enter your password on a bogus SL webpage.  This is not highly likely, since if that had happened, you would probably not be able to log into your account...the password would have been changed by the scammer.

The first thing to do is to call Billing at one of the numbers below and see if they can tell you more about your account status.

US/Canada: 800-294-1067
France: 0805-101-490
Germany: 0800-664-5510
Japan: 0066-33-132-830
Portugal: 800-814-450
Spain: 800-300-560
UK: 0800-048-4646
Brazil: 0800-762-1132

Long distance ( not free, but you can use Skype to save some cost ) : 703-286-6277
**Note: Support is offered only in English
