So I'm having trouble with uploading mesh files in all viewers.

I have tried to upload simple mesh items using most of the main viewers and upon clicking the upload button in the mesh dialog box they all just exit back to windows with no explanations why. please can someone help me

One of the earlier versions of the Firestorm viewer (4.4.0, maybe?) used to do that if you were running it with Windows XP.  That bug was fixed in later versions and it never affected users with other versions of Windows.  That's the only time I've ever heard of the behavior.

Other than that, the only thing I can suggest is the standard advice to avoid wireless connections and try rebooting your router to assure a stable Internet connection.

While I can, and do, upload mesh using Firestorm, sometimes things do not work and then I revert to using the latest SL viewer to upload, and that always works. If you are uploading using the latest SL viewer, then I am stumped as well. Perhaps you hit the max amount of triangles or something?
