Can conversation logs be shared on a website *outside* of SL without consent of both parties?

It says in the Community standards: "sharing conversation logs without the participants' consent are all prohibited." Does this apply outside of SL on a blog or forum or does it only apply on LLs own websites and inworld itself?

It only applies to the Second Life world and website under Linden Lab's control. If conversations are shared outside of those, you need to take it up with the Administrators of whatever websites it appears on and of course you may need to take legal advice if necessary.

The ToS only apply to Second Life and LL can only controll what happens within Second Life, but can't controll what goes on in blogs and websites outside of SL.

As the others say, it won't get you in trouble with Linden Lab, since they don't have jurisdiction outside of Second Life.  But it's still wrong.

The others are right, it's against the ToS, to share them; but not outside of SL, or other Linden Labs Ltd. products. Usually talking things over with people, is the better solution. logs can be editted, beyond belief. See if you can all come to a reasonable solution.
