I have noticed some avatars have their real life photos placed in that last spot on their profiles.

How can I put a real life picture of myself on my profile?

Hi Darnellie,

Go to your web profile page (https://my.secondlife.com/darnellie) and click "Edit Profile". Then select "Real World Profile Picture" and you'll get a "Choose File" button that will bring up a search window for your PC. From there you can navigate to the RL photo you want to upload.

You can put any pic you like there, as long as it's G-rated.  Open your web profile at my.secondlife.com/darnellie and select Settings >>> Real World Profile Picture.  Then navigate to a pic on your own hard drive and upload it.  Bingo!

If you have Firestorm or any other viewer that lets you edit your profile in world, just open your profile there and drag/drop a pic from your inventory into the space (or use your texture picker to do the same thing).
