since 2007 I am in SL. I've always been able to buy lindens. Now suddenly I cannot.

Question

since 2007 I am in SL. I've  always been able to buy lindens. Now suddenly I cannot.Nothing is changed in my payment method. I always used Paypal.

I cannot pay the rent of the land I rent, I cannot purchase lindes etc.

I increased my limits in paypal but still I see refused all my attempts of purchase.

I don't find clear answers and even less solutios to this.


Is there the possibility to receive help?

By the way, paypal works because I made other purchasesd with no problem.

Hello Jim,

it still works for me. but as we already figured in some other posts today it might have to do with paypal accounts which have their bank account / debit cards linked to it. These seem to still work fine.

Did you try to link it to your bank account? I think some of the procedures are unclear at the moment and LL is switching to the changes payment methods, so it also could be just a temporarily issue.

Ill try to figure out more. and return if i got an answer.

In  addition you can do the same by writing a support ticket under: https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/

Edit: or as Rolig said jusr call the billing team.

If you're having trouble buying through the Lindex, the best way to get a good answer is to ask the Billing Office. If you have a non-technical issue related to billing concerns, you can call the Linden Lab billing team at the following toll-free numbers:
