I know I was a 19th possibly 18th century Royal Navy officer because a friend took pictures and they're on her Flickr. I was a scarecrow with a jack-o-lantern head. I was probably a Ghostbuster since I love that costume—by far—more than any other I"ve obtained in my almost five years. I might very well have been a Dio del Muerto bride (also a fave.) Thank you for bringing this question. I hadn't decided what to wear tonight and was thinking I should go buy an outfit. But no. It's Halloween. I'll wear my pirate costume. Arrrrr.
