Is it possible to increase the font size in SL viewer?

The fonts are too small for me to read without being very close to my screen.  Increasing the font size on my laptop doesn't effect the viewer so I was hoping there may be another way to do this.

The chat font size can be modified under Preferences > Chat. I am not aware of any possibility to modify IMs font size.

In a very limited way, yes.  You can change the font size in chat by adjusting it to LARGE in Preferences >>> Chat >>> General.

If you are using Firestorm (and I think V3 too, but I'm not sure), you can adjust the size of the entire user interface in Preferences  >>> User Interface >>> General . If not, then you still ought to be able to adjust the debug setting UIScaleFactor in your Advanced menu (CTRL + Alt + D) >> Debug Settings

In Preferences/Advanced you may change the UI text size
UI stands for for User Interface
