Hello Lostboyz Levee,

This is a known issue with the delivery of products through the Magic Boxes.

I have verified the orders and the funds were returned to the buyers when the system failed the orders and Customer Support does not have access to the funds. It will be necessary to contact the buyers to verify that they received the item and to ask for payment.

If the order has failed and the resident has not received a refund, they will need to create a case for further investigation.

The Funds I understand but hard earned time and the objects are still gone ... the objects were TAKEN by the Marketplace. Please Return the objects back to the Magic Box ... "A known Issue" should be able to return ... all the residents acknowledge not receiving any of the objects above. I am still at lost where my dogs and horses are ... is the Marketplace eating up millions of orders???

This is costing both of us 100os of Lindens, millions if 100s like me are experiencing this, I am not mad at you Suzannel, just hate replacing "missing" objects that just "disappear" again and again :(

The product is being shipped and you -- 'LL' is reimbursing my clients our money ?? This is unacceptable!

Why don't I just mark everything L$0 - at least it will get through - PLEASE FIX DIRECT DELIVERY OR GO BACK TO MAGIC BOXES, LL AND/OR MARKETPLACE IS NOT SMART ENOUGH TO CHEW GUM AND DEAL LINDENS @ SAME TIME !!!

PLEASE QUIT REIMBURSING MY FUNDS AFTER THE DELIVERY IS A DONE DEAL ....

Hi Lostboyz...I had a similar experience with attempting to purchase a breedable dog via the Marketplace last Friday.  From your post it sounds like you are using Direct Delivery.  Non-copy, unique items, such as breedables cannot be delivered with DD.  This is an issue that was discovered last year when DD was first released.  In the update for the cut off of Magic Boxes posted here this issue is still not fixed and Magic Boxes must still be used for breedables:

For the time being, limited-quantity items can continue to use Magic Boxes and will not be affected. “Limited-quantity” refers to items that the Merchant does not have rights to copy (such as breedable animals which are “no copy” for the seller).

We do not have a Magic Box shutdown date for the migration of limited-quantity listings at this time. After we designate that date, we will give 30 days’ notice so that Merchants will have time to migrate those items. However, to avoid disruption of your listings by the Magic Box phase-out, we strongly encourage you to convert all of your listings to Direct Delivery as soon as possible.

Hmmm, in re-reading this it sounds like breedables "can" use DD but will not be cut off from using Magic Boxes in April.  Ok, now I'm confused.

At any rate, the issue I had was trying to purchase a breedable from a merchant who had just migrated to DD.  This resulted in a failed delivery which the merchant caught immediately and contacted me.  I checked my MP and transaction histories and verified that the lindens had been deducted from my account, but the dog was not delivered. The merchant had not been paid and still had the dog.  I purchased the dog directly from the merchant (thus paying twice for the same item).  After several back and forth customer ticket posts, I was refunded for the MP order that failed due to the fact that I had the dog now so it was no longer available on the MP.

**You may already have done all this but, based on a similar situation as the customer, have you checked to see if the dog/s in question are still in your inventory?  Have you contacted the customer/s to see if they have the dog/s and/or if payment was taken from their accounts?  It's a pain in the backside to go through all this, but just suggestions that might help.

The merchant of the breedables from whom I purchased my dog has reverted back to using Magic Boxes after the failure of DD for her.  You might want to do the same for now.  I hope all this gets straightened out..it is a mess for sure!

**ETA:  Ok, I haven't had caffeine yet today and just re-read your post and saw whyere you did contact the customers.  It also sounds, from your last sentence, that you were using a Magic Box.

There were many, many failed deliveries over the weekend - from BOTH DD and Magic Boxes so this "This is a known issue of Magic Boxes" is incorrect and, imo, a continued push by LL to get merchants on DD.

Since your customers did not receive the dogs they ordered, if I were you I would contact them and see if they have submitted tickets for the attempted purchases.  From being both a merchant and customer, it seems like in these types of cases it's the customer who has to push for resolution.  If their funds have been returned and you don't have the dogs...then, yeah, where did they go??????

After going through this personally, I am now purchasing any future breedables directly from the in world locations.  As a merchant who currently has no in world location myself, I realize this could result in missing sales for merchants who are only on the MP.  Gah...can't win either way.

Thanks for the reply ... only using DD on my own creations, breedables are another story still using the Magic boxes.  LL needs some good programmers, the solution is simple ... Marketplace delivers the breedable, then goes back see item is gone ... its already verified the item was DELIVERED but then rechecks seeing item is gone ... DELIVERY FAILURE is an erroneous statement because of poor programming and trying mix "oranges and apples" -- DD & Magic Boxes.

I will fight this till they fix it, I haven't got all day chasing clients down because of LL failure to correctly beta test the DD/Magic box system. They're using our hard earned time and effort to do their system testing ... would love to get a LL paycheck for doing someone's job!  I will continue to sell on the marketplace but limited so its their loss Lindens not fixing this last year BEFORE making it a ready-made deal!

I have found many honest people getting some of the breedables, and paying for them after IMs, but with a global market this is getting tiresome translating, waiting for people to get online just to find my IMs capped!  ... its still not fixing the problem. Linden Labs is using Magic Boxes as poor defense for short-sighted poor programming!

I totally agree with your post.  Many of us feel like we're free "beta-testers" for LL. 

A bit off-topic:  I just purchased my very first BioBreedable puppy and am enjoying watching her grow.  I didn't buy her with the intention of breeding her, but now I'm considering purchasing a male and getting one or two offspring.  I know literally nothing about what to look for in breeding traits, how to select a mate for my dog, etc.  If you have time (doesn't need to be right away, I haven't been spending a lot of time in SL lately) I would love to talk with you a bit on this subject.

I also see you have an inworld location.  I plan to come over and visit that soon!

I emptied all my creations ,,, just not seen any breedable warnings ...  they wrking and selling fine 4 days ago ...

canceling ALL MY ONLINE till linden labs fixes their problem

One RL reason and because on the off-chance LL pushes back DD migration again, I personally like using the Magic Box.  What I *should* do is my personal decision. ;)

I have ceased ALL my breedables' "sales"  on the Marketplace, leaving the Ad up and letting people know " Please IM / Notecard Lostboyz Levee for Purchase" ... I hate havening to explain the poorly managed Marketplace at LL.  And yes tickets are being answered without a blink ... "known problem."

I not only love breeding & selling my Biobreeds dogs but many others do to, from raising them to various events, races even swimming LOL. Till LL gets competent people in to FIX this "migratory" headache ... I counted 32 sales this week alone "Delivery failed" & "Not available for redelivery" and finding out after countless IMs, most are being delivered -- LL would rather defuse the problem with "Apology chats" than hire real programmers
