A lot of items are missing from my inventory now. Where is everything disappearing to?

Myself and others I know are coming up missing items, clothing, landmarks and more. What is going on?

May just be a cache issue. Try clearing your cache (manually is best). If that doesn't solve the issue (and I am sure you will get some specifics on pages to go to if you aren't a good searcher) then there is a possibility that things really have disappeared. I noted that my inventory had a lower number than expected yesterday or the day before and I have just cleared my cache for other reasons.

There ARE times when things disappear. It has happened to me four times now in five plus years. It may have happened more often than that when I was new and didn't know what was going on. Sometimes the things come back -- often in odd folders so keep a lookout for that-- and sometimes they are simply gone.

The database is a fickle lady it seems. Sorry.

The instructions were written for Firestorm viewer, so if you use the official Viewer 3, you need to replace "Firestorm" with "SecondLife" in the path names.
