Everything's pink, avatar won't load

Title explains it all... Haven't been online for years and now buildings are pink and my avatar won't load at all. Can anyone help me?

First step:

Update your viewer (use a recent one, built no later than February 2013), and your graphics card drivers.

Second step (if this doesn't work):

Post your system information, including graphics (hardware + driver versions), network and viewer information.

It's doubtful people can help you much without more information.

It's a graphics card driver issue. Update your drivers, and everything should go back to normal.

Yeah, that graphic chip is in serious trouble. Might not just be an outdated driver, since they usually don't just stop working, but probably DIRT/HEAT. Particularly when you're using a laptop these things clog up pretty easily. Always use your machine (lappy and desktop alike) in a well-vented environment. Every 6 months (lappy 3 mths) open up the case and give it a thorough vacuuming! And do it now! Every second of usage can fry your poor graphics, so time is working against you.
