You are automatically age verified by the date you entered when you signed up. You probably need to change the maturity setting in the viewer (open Preferences, tab General). If you can't change anything there from General, you should wait until you turn 18.

If you are trying to get into land where the land owner has set the age verification access flag, you need to contact them and let them know that that flag no longer is appropriate, since LL has removed the old system of verifying your age.

However, whether they choose to act on your information is up to them.  Land owners can allow whoever they wsnt on thier land, and exclude whoever they want, whether their reasons make sense or not.
