Where are all the sellers?

I can't read a blog without talk about how private region ownership is plumeting, but I have been trying for a month to buy a region without a lick of success. 

I would like to buy one full transfer region. The region must be empty and ready for transfer. Tier date doesn't matter, if you have a region you want to dump before an approaching tier payment let me know.

Conjecture: The sellers probably gave up for the most part, when the buyers failed to show up for a few years.

At this point, you'd probably just have to start pestering owners of sims with low traffic and hoping you don't get AR'd for it.

Or watch for notices of sims closing, and come in with an offer to buy them out. There are a lot of these. Many don't speak up until they've already handed the thing back to LLs - ie too late. But some announce a plan to close before they've actually submitted the paperwork - giving that chance.
