If your mute/block a person....that is on your friends list will they be deleted?

I want to mute/block someone that is harassing me me that is on my friends list but i do not know if that deletes them.

 

I want this to be a temp thing...so I do nto know if this is the right thing for me to do...

 

My opinion is that IT WILL delete them as well as block them...but I am not 100% sure

No.

If you block or mute a person who is on your friends list they will not be deleted or removed from your friend list, and its a great feature to exercise when you want time out on your own, just remember to unblock unmute them when youre ready enough.

Eyeye's answer is technically correct.  But as a practical matter, if you Block a friend, the chances are pretty good that they will not BE a friend afterwards.

I would certainly remove anyone who deliberately blocked me from my Friends list.
