Malestorm1488303118
Hello,I would like to be able to add and retrieve events on my Google calendar from SL, and possible access other google apps too. Does anyone have a working example of the LSL HTTP request one would make to the Google API to integrate with Google Calendar?I have set up my calendar, registered my applicaton with google, generated the API key, but still don't seem to be able to correctly connect to the google calendar app.
Rolig Loon
Take a look at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/GA_Event_Notifier . It's one of many scripts that people have written to connect to Google apps.
Thinkerer Melville
You can do some things via the browers-on-prim feature. You can display a google calendar and display details as you would on the web. You should be able to make entries, but I have not found that easy. Malestorm1488303118
Hi ... Thank you both for the information. The Google API enables you to make HTTP calls from various languages like PHP to gather / populate data to / from the various Google apps. So I was hoping that maybe someone has tried it. If you have done it, then I would appreciate an example. If I come up with success myself, I will add it to the wiki. Thanks
Ciaran Laval
Darien Calwell has used it with regards to HTTP-DNS: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/User:Darien_Caldwell/HTTP-DNS Not sure if that's the sort of example you're looking for, but it is an example of its usage.
