Accessing Google Apps from SL

Hello,

I would like to be able to add and retrieve events on my Google calendar from SL, and possible access other google apps too.    Does anyone have a working example of the LSL HTTP request one would make to the Google API to integrate with Google Calendar?

I have set up my calendar, registered my applicaton with google, generated the API key, but still don't seem to be able to correctly connect to the google calendar app.

Take a look at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/GA_Event_Notifier .  It's one of many scripts that people have written to connect to Google apps.

You can do some things via the browers-on-prim feature.  You can display a google calendar and display details as you would on the web.  You should be able to make entries, but I have not found that easy.

Thank you both for the information.     The Google API enables you to make HTTP calls from various languages like PHP to gather / populate data to / from the various Google apps.       So I was hoping that maybe someone has tried it.

If you have done it, then I would appreciate an example.    If I come up with success myself, I will add  it to the wiki.

Not sure if that's the sort of example you're looking for, but it is an example of its usage.
