It all depends on how skilled you are at simulating virtual sex.  It also depends on how much you have invested in getting an appealing shape, skin, and wardrobe.  Frankly, though, I think the real question to ask yourself is what the emotional cost may be.  Like many women in SL, I spent some time pole dancing early on, but that's a world of difference from escorting.  It could be easy to get your emotions tied into a knot.  This is not a value judgment.  I'm just saying make that sort of choice with your eyes wide open.
