You can create a Fee to Join, at the Groups main page.

You can rez a Group owned Donation or Tip Jar

You could rez a simple box, owned by the group, sell copies.

In Managing Group Roles and Abilities, you will be able to control which Group member, in which Role, can share in the Group's liability / dividends.

I recommend reading all the information in the link.

Create the group for one

Create a roll for the persons you want to receive dividends in the rolls section of group window and ad which members you chose to be in the roll.

Then set the roll in the Accounting section to reveive dividends

The dividends are disbursed every night around midnight Second Life time

Check account transaction history every morning for your totals

Short answer:  Groups don;t have accounts.   People do.

Longer answer: Any time money is received by a group, it is split evenly among group members whose role includes sharing group assets and liabilities.  Any time a group owes money, as for a listing in Search, each member's personal account is charged its share of the cost.  The group doesn't ever have the money in either case.  Only its individual members do.  "Certain members" do not control L$ for the group, except in the sense that they determine which roles share assets and liabilities.
