Echo Hermit
It sounds like your computer is straining at the extra work caused by an upload instruction. Please check that you have the latest drivers downloaded for your graphics card, and ensure your computer isn't overheating. Other suggestions will follow. Please keep checking back here. Yunni Nyoki
I had driver problems recently, i had a Nvidia driver who was causing problems with my PC, so someone recommended me to go back to a earlier drivers, so there iam, with a older nvidia drivers. If i upgrade i could get "blue screens" again, if i dont upgrade, i get SL freezes?, theres a way to get a "mid driver update"?

Echo Hermit
I think at this point it would be useful if you give us your full computer specifications. I do not want to give you wrong information, but it is looking more and more like your graphics card is suffering from wear and tear issues. Echo Hermit
You are accessing Second Life with a wireless connection? This may be the problem. (Although I am confused because of the talk about blue screen problems) Edited to add: I still think it is wear and tear on the graphics card. They don't last forever. dd Temin
Yunni..........The Graphics display card Geforce 210....is so old !... and even when it was new it was a very low performance graphics card. SL needs a higher performance card these days. If you decide to upgrade to a better graphics card, you will also need a better power supply. I would recommend a Nvidia 550TI ....and a new 500 watt PC power supply. This Nvidia 550TI will give very good SL performace without being too expensive. Good luck finding a solution.. Kwakkelde Kwak
Are you using Skydrive? That is giving the same or similair results lately for a lot of users it seems.

Yunni Nyoki
Fixed uninstalling Skydrive! Thankyou!
Kwakkelde Kwak
Thanks for verifying that. The problems I read about didn't include crashing like you experienced. Good to know that can also be caused by the Skydrive. There is a JIRA about the subject, where a workaround is given so you can use both SL and Skydrive. You'll have to be comfortable with editing your registry by hand though. Another option is using a similair program, from what I read there are plenty of alternatives. JIRA with workaround and alternatives Search for Latif Khalifa's post, it's somewhere at 2/3 now.
CocaCola Coakes
I have the same problem. It doesn't matter which Viewer I use. The same thing happens. My computer is very powerful. I have the second generation iCore7 cpu on a P9 Asus motherboard with 1000 watts power supply unit and an AMD Radeon HD 6850/ PCIe 2.1 1GB GDDR5/256bit graphics card made by Gigabyte. I never had this problem before until about 2 months ago. My computer is almost 1 year old. I still can't figure out the problem. Can the person who commented on a faulty graphics card, please explain how this affects the upload. Thanks.
Summer Siemens
Hello avatars and cocacola. I had the same problem with uploading. As soon as I click Upload, my SL crashes. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Yes, I also installed Windows Live Messenger and whatever else you've all mentioned. However, I didn't have to unstall anything. Try the following: Go to your shortcut icon. Right click it, Go to Properties. Click Compatibility tab. Under Compatibility mode, put checkmark in the box Run this Program in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 3). I also checked box for Run this Program as an Administrator. Good luck. This worked for me.
