Inventory Borked today? / Also Public Chat?

It seems when I take an object of mine into my inventory it shows that it copys itself.

 

Also when I type into public chat it shows the message twice?

 

Anyone have any idea what thats all about?

JD, I have no idea what's going on, but you are not alone. There was a woman in a group chat who had the same problem. At first I thought she was doing it on purpose to be funny, but it became clear that it was really happening to her. No one knew how to help. Aside from the usual advice of "do a clean install" etc., I just wanted to let you know that it is happening to others.

Sounds like some heavy network issues with packet loss.

That can cause your chats to come thru 2 times.

Yep, I've had this on cell phone texts before but never in SL. Lindens always keeping it interesting with new bugs everyday :catvery-happy:

It used to be what you got in some cases when the chat translator was on

I didn't follow up on it but it would do no harm to check:)

Just to let you guys know. It stopped happening.

Now we cant load profiles, classifieds, places, or teleport!
