Returning Objects

I recently purchased some land and need to return some leftover objects to their owners. The problem is that when I click on the object and choose "return," nothing happens. Also, in the "about land" box, it shows 28 total objects when I can only see 3 of them (buried). Possibly these other objects are at a higher altitude? Choosing "return" on the objects page of "about land" does nothing. Could the original owners no longer be on SL? Any advice is welcomed:)

When you say you purchased some land, are we talking about mainland or a private estate?

If it's a private estate, you probably need to check you're in a group role that enables you to return items.   Come to that, if it's mainland and you've deeded it to a land group, you'll need to check the same thing.

It's mainland, and I am the sole owner. Is this something the Lindens can clear for me?

They should be able to.  Since you're a premium member, why not seek the assistance of Live Help?  I don't really understand why you can't return the items, give what you've said.   Something odd certainly seems to be happening.

I'd suggest asking for a sim restart. Sometimes issues like that are because all isn't well with the sim, rather than anything you/the objects have done.
