Amethyst Jetaime
There is hair that does this.Anything else requires adding or changing clothes. As far as looking wet, there are clothes that look wet, and even skin overlays that have waterdroplets and drips on them. For a machinima, you would just need to stop filming, change into the wet things then resume. Or perhaps change under water so when you emerge you look wet. Gaudin Himmel
It would be possible to do it automatically if: You found a RLV scripter that was willing to do it, a clothing maker that would design the outfits and few wearable particle emitters for the drips. Penny Patton
Like others have pointed out, you can use an RLV script to force-wear a "wet layer" clothing item on people using RLV relays. Another way to do it is to have the water rez a temp prim that follows a person for a few moments after they leave the water, dropping water drop particles. This doesn't require RLV, but doesn't look as realistic as also adding the wet layer clothing. Depends on what you're going for, really.
Gwenni Fraisse
This is one of those little bits of realism that we've all wanted and till now there has been no way of achieving it, but shortly to be realeased is a new form of attachment that doesn't need to go to your inventory before it can be worn, there is also a new form of permission that will enable a single acceptance and then subsequent attachments can occur without further interaction with menu's. This means that in conjunction with mesh a wet skin could be applied after a swim or maybe make someone muddy during a mud wrestling match, there are numerous things that a creative person could achieve, the simplest will mean you can pick up a glass from a table or a knife and fork. Its taken a long time to get here, fingers crossed that it works as described.
