0 Dilbert Dilweg
This is a known problem with some ATI cards https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SH-2946? You need to upgrade your catalyst drivers i think For a quick but temporary solution, go to Preferences >> Graphics and disable Basic Shaders. For a more permanent solution update the 12.1 Catalyst driver from http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx?type=2.4.2&product=2.4.2.... or run the AMD driver autodetect tool to update: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/auto_detect.aspx
0 Nalates Urriah
When you ask a tech question include information about your computer. Get the info from the viewer's Help-About... and paste that into your post with your question. To add your info to an existing question use OPTIONS->EDIT. It’s in the upper right of your post. You are probably running an ATI/AMD video card with an old driver. Update the driver and the problem will clear... provided this is the problem that started showing up about a month ago. You might also try the Beta version of the viewer. I think it has a fix for the problem too. Pink Prims Bug
0 Nyll Bergbahn
As Dilbert said. However, without knowing which ATI card you have, I wouldn't just install the latest 12.3 Catalyst as many older ATI cards can't run drivers beyond 10.2. See this page for a list: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Legacy/Pages/radeonaiw_vista32.aspx You should use the AMD detect utility or the manual selector http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx If you have a laptop with an ATI/AMD Mobility card, refer to the links on this page http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/737-28041SupportforATIMobility.aspx
