I attached something called gpu shredder now i cant log into second life ever!!

i attatched something out of one of those funboxes called a tiny gpu shredder thinking it was some stupid griefing toy or something and now i can't ever log in .... it crashes without fail every single time.... i really need help how do i resolve this issue

click on the one call Knowledge base/

type into the search    How to uninstall and reinstall second life.

click on the words in the drop down menu or click search

once at the page that tell you how to do a Clean install read it and follow what lindens say.

Arcane - Yeah - that was not a great thing to do - OK quick fix......

Please Note: A Clean reinstall of the viewer wll NOT fix this.

1) Download and install one of the excellent text only SL Session Viewers like the Radegast Metaverse Client

2) Login and as soon as you get in, head to your current outfit folder and start removing the errant objects!!!!

Afterwards you will be able to use the standard Graphics SL Viewer you have installed.

Next, throw the box of crap away ASAP!

I would like to add the following to Karen's excellent solution:  If Radegast allows, try to login to a region where you would not expect to find other avatars hanging out with friends and chatting, etc.  Your appearance is likely crashing others that see you while that abusive material is attached to you.  You might even get abuse reported for your trouble.
