Downloaded and installed viewer 3.7.20.296094 for Windows and now viewer won't load.

Downloaded and installed viewer 3.7.20.296094 for Windows and now viewer won't load. When I start it says:

Detecting Hardware ... Initializing Texture Cache ... Initializing VFS ...

Then it just quits.

Am I the only one with this issue. I can get online using other viewers but I don't like them.

You are not the only one, but for right now your best bet is to use another viewer until Linden Lab gets the bug out of the current "official" viewer. If you don't want to try any of the excellent Third Party viewers like Firestorm, and if you don't mind using a beta viewer for a while, I suggest looking at one of Linden Lab's beta Release Candidate or Project Viewers.

There is a third party veiwer at http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/ that will work until the sl veiwer becomes "working" once again for everyone hopefully.

Just remember to download the right firestorm veiwer for your system.
