Hello,

I have two computers, a tower with i5 quad core Intel with windows 7 64Bit, 4 GB RAM and a NVIDIA GTX 570 graphic adapter, my second computer is a notebook with an ATI graphic card onboard (Intel dual core, 4 GB RAM and windows 7 64Bit).

I am not able to see mesh objects if I used my tower (NVIDIA), I tried out the oldest driver (263.09) after deinstalling the never driver and cleaning my system with CCleaner and Driver Sweeper, it won't work. I tried out the Second_Life_3-0-1-238613_BetaViewer, Second_Life_3-0-2-238735_ProjectViewer-Mesh and Kirstens S21(9). I used a different windows user to not become conflicted with the %appdate% folder.

I re-installed the latest driver 280.26 i used befor. It doesn't matter.

If using my one year old notebook with the ATI graphic card, I will have no problems with mesh. But using the notebook is not an option for me. Can someone help?

Thanks a lot,

Azar

There is something very wrong with all GTX570. Many people suffer with same problem - display driver stop working and recovered......There is no fix for it, its just broken serie of cards, i never saw any solution for this issue. I suffer with this error, my friend with gtx 570 too and i know about tons of othe rpeople with 570 having same issues. Nvidia does not care to fix it (if its actually possible). Solution - get new card (not 570), they are not compatible prperly with most power suplies and memory = casing this issue and RMA card wont help.

Do a memory test, try Prime95, -- Other then that, tinker within the games interface, and your desktop interface. If the card was a built in card, and not installed a HUD should be provided.

For technical questions it is often easier to copy-paste the info from the viewer's Help-> About. It gives versions of several important components installed on your system.

The 560 is not the only nVidia card having problems. The Lindens are aware of the problem. The problem is not so much the nVidia cards as it is how the Lab uses OpenGL and changes in OpenGL.

The work-a-round is to roll the card back to an older nVisia driver. Several people are using 260.99.

Search this forum on nVidia or nVisia 560 to find what people are trying. There is all some information here: [#SH-2240] As OpenGL, I want applications to not use the fixed function, because it is deprecated. - Second Life Bug Tracker and nVidia Driver GTX 460 Problems

Hi again,

i now have testet all possible drivers from the NVIDIA driver page (beta & whql), I also have installed a driver named 280.28_desktop_winvista_64bit_international.exe from http://developer.nvidia.com/opengl-driver

Is there someone with a working combination with the GTX 570 card?

Thank you, Azar

Hello,

i only want to declare, that i am nevertheless unable to see mesh objects, i allready have installed the new viewer an my desktop and on my notebook, too. My notebook runs with a amd graphic adapter and that will work.

My desktop with the NVIDIA GTX 570 will not work, mesh are invisible with the desktop pc.
