It's difficult to help without any information on your computer system and exactly what's happening. Open SL to the login screen then copy/paste the details from Help > About into a reply here. Also, how long can you stay in SL without crashing? What graphics settings are you using? Have you tried lowering them? What messages if any appear when you crash?

If you're still running XP, it's possible your computer system or part of your system such as the graphics card is now old enough to be borderline capable of running a second life viewer and that's why you are always crashing. Perhaps your computer is overheating due to dust accumulation affecting some viewers more than others. When did you last clean your fans and inside your computer case? Have you run one of the free temperature and performance monitoring programs such as OpenHardwareMonitor?

Give us something to work with in other words.

Are you going to regions with a lot of avatars present and are you using your camera a lot? More recent viewers can use a lot of memory in situations like this and in fact can use more memory than a 32-bit application is allowed to "address." If you're running programs in the background that can aggravate this problem.
