So what changed in the Terms of Service?
Ingrid Ingersoll replied to Lucia Nightfire's topic in General Discussion Forum
I've got very little empathy for anyone complaining about having to wear virtual undies and villainizing a company that seems to finally be taking significant steps to solve a pedophile problem in their platform. Let me break out the tiniest violin for them. -

SL doesn't exist in a vacuum, and I would expect that most logical adults understand that it's not always about them. You're just enabling a silly tantrum from people who don't have to do anything but wear undies in a virtual world. -

This is what happens when you threaten someone's kink in sl. It's absurd. -

Read that back to yourself and ask yourself if that's actually a terrible thing. -

Nothing is wrong with any of that. None of the revised TOS is a hardship unless your thing is naked kid avis. But ll has ignored this problem for so long that they now have an entitled community that thinks they should be allowed to do whatever they want, and they are outraged. -

So much concern from people who swear up and down that they don't partake in adult activities with their kid avis. -

I also think it sends a message to online pedophile communities that they're not going to be welcome to establish themselves in sl anymore. -

Who exactly is persecuting you? Have you been banned? I remember years ago when threads about ***** would roll out and people tried to silence anyone concerned about pedophiles by mocking them with "won't someone think of the children". As if concerns over kids wellbeing were lolworthy. When I look back on that now years later I realize how utterly antisocial and f'ed up that was. -

Same. I try to give ageplayers the benefit of the doubt but inevitably those I've known have turned out to be involved in garbage. -
