    That's sh** too though. But at least those venues weren't chosen by LL to showcase at the official second life welcome hub where new people are introduced to communities. Not a good look and just underscores the crap that needs to be sorted at LL.

    There's a lot of them. There's one in boys town that is no females allowed. Boys town, you know the group that has a a big showcase in the secondlife welcome hub? Yeah not so welcoming to women apparently. That's okay though, no one is complaining about that cause it's women. So who cares.

    I was there yesterday and spoke to someone who started in sl a month ago and i asked him about his experience starting and he said the welcome hub was overwhelming. I wonder if LL employees do informal surveys of people who have joined recently to find out what works and what doesn't.
