  1. Thing is, lithium has had several major updates,  and including but not limited too more hard coding of spam tools that block what's been happening.   I'm not sure what LL has been doing with this hosted solution, but I'm hoping at some point they go "hmmm we should go back to vbulletin"     because vb is all around better and do you not have to worry about a "hosted" solution as this.

  2. I use a mesh body that keeps me away from the LL body,  while nice and all, if they are very serious about doing this they need to get with a certain creator (damn naming policy) that sells them and has like an anime type following.

because that body, I can do quite a bit with, custom texture for the skin was a HUGE plus,  the other mesh bodies I've found wont let me change the skin texture and I think I've went on a rant, instead of staying on subject, but oki doki, I'll shutup now rofl.

  3. No free Demo no buy is my motto.

so put out a free demo and the right sizes and such and sure I'll peak at it.

Now if you charge for your demo's,  I'll pass on you.

Also some creators love to be annoying with there demo and add 500 things to make sure people know it's a demo,  mark it on the fabric, I dont need a spinning, firework shooting sign over my head when trying to show friends.

    /rant off

  4. stop the fear mongering,  only way to track is to have an object made by them with a script in it that will tell them exactly where you are,  YOU have to be wearing it, no client even the naughty ones have the ability to do that, if it was the case LL would of patched it,  it's a security exploit and they do tend to fix them rather quickly.

  5. Thanks for your interest in participating in this beta survey and test of a program offered by OL2, Inc. (OnLive).  The survey and test are part of what shall be referred to as the “Beta Program”.   This Beta Program will test access to Second Life via the OnLive Viewer for Second Life through the OnLive Service. By responding to our initial questionnaire and participating in any other Beta Program activities,

Is what I got after signup

  6. It's real, the links goto a onlive signup page, which has to be done first and then heads to the beta signup page and then from there you enter the information they want, and then you get to wait for them to select you for the beta.

I went through the whole process just to make sure it was legit and doing so on a virtual machine to minimize the risk if it was faked.

domainstools.com  is one resource you should keep handy to check if in fact things are real or not.

  7. Not using it in a shop at all.  no plans on that.  and if you had read what I had said,  I've looked at most of the builders kits and they have a term of service which prevents me from giving them away for promotional items at parties.  I'm not going to make any profit off this, if I buy them, It will be at a loss.

I'm trying to not violate anybodies trust and respect and get myself dcma'd.  but if this will be a lost cause with finding what I want. then that is what it is.  I'll just have to make system shirts myself and hand those out.

  8. I've been hunting all over the marketplace for rigged mesh clothing templates or items I can retexture,

I've found one person who has done that but all they have like that are female shirts, I need male too.

I'm not trying to sell them, what I am trying to do is give away certain rigged mesh clothing with our logo's/colours

But most term's of service people have setup are preventing me from doing something creative and having a bit of fun,

    So to tl'dr

Not giving away with full permissions, looking for creative commons clothing, looking to give away at parties, not wanting to sell them.

  10. Ah thank you perrie, I've been digging around, but now I get it.  we'll it's a shame, but I'll have to just get items built for me instead of buying kits and such.

I'm not wanting to piss any body off so this is the best route.  at least I've did some homework and just not ignored them peoples and did my own things, I'd be in some hot waters right now.

  11. I've been trying to figure this out too drake,  I've found some full perm mesh kits I need and with the tou/tos they have layed out it's not possible for me todo what I need todo.   so guess I'll have to do some real digging into real law to see what I can figure out.

  12. This is not directed at you cracker,  this damn forum software confuses me...  should of stuck with VB they should have lol.

They wonder why certain people stop developing,  when the community turns on them, they say screw it.  I know I would too.

You come in on you're high horse demanding cracker and other people give you everything on a golden plate, but you have given nothing to them to help them process,  cracker even stated, he had to put the project on hold because of another project which was paying him,  but you can not understand that it seems.    so let's get off our high horse and now stop jumping up and down all over this guy because he's backed out, people do that when you treat them like total **bleep**.    so you will either play with ctrlaltstudios or wait for LL to finish theirs.
