If you have changed your password, you need to use the one from before for the beta grid. since it's a snapshot. it's not an up to date version of SL

Beta Grid is still online and working, logging in is fine too.

it's scripted to be 30 days, it will be 30 days. it's basically a device that sits at there landing point and scans for people under a certain age. it keeps the riftraft out. we were all new once, alot of us have run into these things over the years. I ran into one a while back on mainland that told me I had to be 8 years old. lol

lyumina I bought, because it's a one time payment. it works for what I need. this "onlive" crap, which it is, since I have no access to the machine it's sitting on (security risk in this day and age) so it's not worth the risk to my accounts.

My advice, go into SL, hit the info hubs, hit other places up you can find that our popular.

I have no use for onlives "streaming SL" product. if it was free I could see it being useful in a pinch, but I pay to support LL not some other service.

Any site you goto on the INTERNET, stores the IP address. every place you visit. so "hiding it for security" is just silly.
and it does not change when you log into SL, it is the same until you change it by restarting your modem(dsl) or changing your mac address (cable) or if you have a static IP, calling you're provider and asking them to change it.

it's still cute to see these crop up, I'm an 07'er, should be posting with that account, but eh lazy.
But these issues are really nothing anybody that's been here as long as I have or even longer knows the growing pains and even the massive issues of down times we've had.
Maintaince wednesday's personally to me should of never went away, it was 12 hours of them banging and testing, knowing we always had a rocky couple days after and typically roll backs lol, but sometimes they did get it right, which if I think about it now is scary.
But it's fun to watch these threads.

so forcing me to install updates I do not want or do not need and that typically break what I use for programs. Nice LL. sigh~ another one of these "HEY LET'S DO THIS WITHOUT CHECKING" I get the xp, anybody using that is risking everything.
I'm on 7, sure service pack 1 is installed, but if I install a certain update for .net or a vb run time or a hotfix, might as well say I will be having issues with a piece of software I use for supporting a fortune 500 company. Nice. Great to know.

all I can recommend is you run malwarebytes to see if you have an infection of some kind next. otherwise without the ad block your going to keep getting them or if you have it make sure you block list has nothing like *.secondlife.com or as the sort, because that allows the ad's.

use a modern browser that's not internet explore, I suggest firefox or chrome, then add the extension adblock plus. all I can really suggest and these ad's are not new.. just random at best they can be.

That's not how that works, LL wont give that back. being here since 07 on my main account, I can tell you right now. this is nothing, just a little sneeze, when the whole grid used to go down for upwards of 12 hours or maintance wednesdays. ya new people have no idea. lol

Setting the bandwidth above 1400 does nothing btw, it's a known bug. so your example of 3000 is a bit off.

Most teleport issues are caused by you're connection, Very rarely anymore is it caused by an actual LL issue.

Lindens are not in the business of money laundering, we've had some "people" come here looking to just sell their coins at one point in time for lindens and then covert them into real money. LL changed somethings, as I still think something was happening in the pipeline and some goverment agency was looking at LL because of it.

You really do not even need to dig. there are tools out there. simple to find too. even if they "blocked it" there are other tools that can read the video card directly and can pull whats in it's memory, and if that person suggest "streaming service" heh like onlive, sorry the information is still there and can still be grabbed. There is nothing that can he 100% to take care of this "issue"
