Black Pearl Games, a division of Solace Beach Estates, is seeking a manager and marketing assistant for our gaming parlor. We have games such as No Devil, Wizard, Stomp the Fox, Roto Loto, Core S, etc. We are looking for someone with experience working in or operating a gaming place, especially hosting and marketing. We will also consider someone with other Second Life work experience who plays games regularly and knows a lot of players. If you love games and you have ideas about what makes a great place, this is the job for you. Duties will include recruiting and networking with players, sending notices to our group, checking out new games and trends, etc. Your primary job will be to bring in new players and be friendly with existing players, so great people skills are essential. Good contacts in the gaming world are a major plus. Please have a professional attitude and profile. Prefer if you can use voice or Skype for training and occasional meetings. Hours: You MUST be available for about 1/2 hour between Midnight and 2am SLT at least 3 days per week. Other hours are flexible according to your schedule, but some availability during either European or American primetime or both would be ideal. Starting pay is 2000L$ per week, with the opportunity to earn more based on performance. If you work hard and increase our players and earnings, your pay can go up to 5000L$ per week. Looking for a full prim sim for transfer fee only. This is for a Parkinsons Disease nonprofit group and needed ASAP. I posted in a group at the end of last month asking and someone offered us one, but said it wouldn't be ready until the 15th. We agreed to wait and I kept in touch with her. Then today I contacted her to arrange things, and she said she had given the sim back to LL and is refusing to reverse the ticket even though tier isn't up and it wouldn't cost her a thing. It sucks that someone would do that to a nonprofit, we waited all this time for nothing. Hope someone can help us get a sim fast. Tier date the same/next day is ok. I have extended support. I work for Tamra Hayden, who is a RL Broadway performer; she's starred in Phantom and Les Miserables among other shows. But she's pretty booked up for the holidays. You can IM me in world with a date/time and I'll ask, though. Check out Jean Munro, she's a good friend of mine too... she sings and plays piano, romantic and light jazz. Beautiful voice. Sultry Sonata and Gina Gracemount are both good performers in that genre. Taunter Goodnight is awesome but is more pop. All of these musicians charge a fee and don't do tips gigs... but they are well worth it!

I'm an adult sim landlord and my sims have rules against promotion of rape or beastiality with RL animals. I DO police it in that I check land titles and descriptions, and stores or homes if I have reason to be suspicious. What people discuss in private IM, however repellent, is their business, but if I see it happening or being advertised on my sim they WILL be evicted. I don't want sick creeps renting from me. It's not difficult to make a good faith effort to keep predators off your land.

Hi, I'm looking for someone who can build an oceanside, slightly grungy 1920s / Art Deco pavilion for a gaming area (Zyngo, etc.). This will be one enormous room with many windows and entrances, and fill half a sim. Think Coney Island, Boardwalk Empire, old carnivals and freak shows, and you will get an idea of what I want. If you have seen the Arcade Gacha build, that is a similar style. I'm fine with prims, sculpts, mesh, or a combination; I just want something that looks great. I shouldn't need any custom sculpts or textures that aren't available on Marketplace etc. other than maybe a front facade piece or sign. I prefer that the building be transfered to me full perms, but I won't resell it in any way. Looking for someone who can start building right away. Solace Beach Estates is currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team. The Marketing Assistant's role is to generate sales and promote Solace Beach business interests via advertising and marketing initiatives. This is an entry level position but will have opportunities for advancement based on performance and the success of the estate. The currently available position requires ~ 1-2 hours of work per week. Responsibilities: * Writing and posting messages 5 times/week to inworld groups and forums, advertising Solace Beach locations or stores operating on our estate. * Researching other advertising methods such as ad boards, magazines, etc. and arranging placement as appropriate. * Creating images for advertising purposes * Developing new marketing campaigns and sales ideas, coordinating with estate owner and events manager. San Diego 3D/Solace Beach Estates is looking for a landscaping partner to work together to cross-promote our products and services. We are a rental business of over 40 sims plus San Diego 3D, a 2 sim entertainment and shopping district based on San Diego, CA. We have a beautiful store space available, the San Diego Botanical Gardens, which will operate on a split profit basis, 30% to us and the rest to the designer. We will work with you to replace all of the existing landscaping on San Diego 3D with your products. If desired, these items can be offered for sale on the same profit split basis by placing small sales prims near the items. In addition, we would make your landscaping the primary items used to decorate our lots for sale. We would rez a small sign on each lot that says "Landscaping provided by.." and gives a landmark to your store. In return you would include a notecard about our land rentals in boxes/folders with items sold at your main store, on Marketplace, etc. Other possible avenues of cross-promotion can include gift card exchanges, group notice advertisements, etc. We're open to your ideas of how we can work together to help each other! It would be great to have a secondary "estate assistant" role that has lesser powers but can estate ban. That is the main ability I'd really like to give to more people.

I am a longtime estate owner...this person was not my customer, but I've seen this many times. A person agrees to rules, refuses to follow them, and then gets upset when the rules are enforced and goes around complaining that they were terribly wronged. I have very rarely had to evict someone for covenant violations. They always get multiple notices first and an opportunity to correct the problem, which most choose to do. If there is a problem object, such as a malfunctioning security orb, a temp rezzer, or something causing severe lag, an estate manager can return just that item, leaving the rest of the tenant's belongings intact. If someone has ban lines up and doesn't remove them within 24 hours of a warning, a staff member will reclaim the lot, remove the ban lines, and set it back for sale to the tenant for 0L$ - again, without returning any objects. These peaceful methods usually resolve the problem, the tenant stays and is happy. That said, if someone chooses to leave or has to be told to leave because they won't follow the rules they agreed to when they rented, they don't get a refund. I have a very strict no refund policy (part of what they agreed to) and it is not my responsibility to compensate people for not reading. They can choose to stay and follow the rules, or leave their remaining tier and go elsewhere. I'm glad LL doesn't get involved in resident disputes...it allows me to run my business as I see fit. I treat people fairly, and expect the same in return.

Hi, I'm looking for a great machinima maker to film a live theatre/concert performance. This will be a 1 hr event, complete with live singing and set changes. I'll need you to film the entire event, plus some closeup footage during rehearsal that you can edit in later. I would like an edited video of the whole event, plus a highlights video, including credits and the logos for my businesses included. These should be YouTube-ready. I will pay well for this, but need a highly qualified, experienced, and RELIABLE person whose building style matches with my vision. Looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications: Building Skills: * Experienced in large scale builds, with examples you can show me. * You know how to build low-prim and use megaprims and sculpties to best advantage. * Ability to create custom textures from photo sources. * Interest in and attention to detail. Since this project involves building replicas of real buildings, willingness to do research and build based on photos, Google Earth data, etc. is essential. Of course some changes will be made to building design and interiors, but the feel and sense of place of the real city needs to be conveyed.
