I don't think you still can buy the old V5.3 body and the add-ons in the store. It's the full version of LaraX, LaraX Petite and LaraX flat. All at 2750 Lindens. And I don't know that you get the old V5.3 with the flat and petite add-on with the LaraX Petite & LaraX Flat bodies, as I haven't tested that out yet.
Addons are still available. PetiteX and FlatX each also include the 5.3 versions. The PetiteX and FlatX Full versions, also include 5.3 versions, are separate purchases.

Lelutka does not own the classic UV map. They will not and cannot sue you for using it. As the name "Classic" implies....it is the UV for the Classic base Avatar that Linden Lab created.

Its, easy, everything i wear is fitmesh.
With mesh avis we loved the idea of not having to wear painted on system layer clothes, and now with bom we are back to painted on system layer clothes.
One plus of the lara x, at 100 my breasts would be even bigger than they are now, but there are too many negatives to put up with for that one benefit
Most only use BOM skins , tatts and skin doo dads. Mesh clothes are still the norm. Going BOM as very little to do with painted on system layer clothes for the majority of us.
At least in BOM mode, we can layer all sorts of skin things, to get a look we like. Something that does not work so well with applier systems.

Firestorm tells you whenever your complexity changes, its easy to put something on , then take it off again to see how complex the item is.
I strive to keep my complexity to under 150 K 😁
Firestorm shows each object attachment's complexity on the Appearance window; wearing tab

It's an intentional change, mostly a good one. There has always been a separate store/creator search.
Many stores have names that pollute normal product search with completely unrelated stuff, so now the search ignores store names and creator names. The downside is that you can't filter *out* stores with spammy listings anymore.
Seems mostly a bad one to me. A lot harder to find specific stores/creators ..actually, almost impossible now. Been experimenting a lot today and bummer for anyone looking for those specific stores they need/want.
And that is just the consumer side. As a designer, myself.... this is worrisome as well. Anyone looking for my store or name is pretty much SOL.
Luckily, my inworld store does just slightly more in sales. Still, MP just as important to me.

I can no longer search MP using a residents name/creator name. Is this working as intended? And if so... why? Would be super odd o.O.
I am hoping this has been addressed and is an unfortunate bug.

Sad news. Her freebie dungeon/basement was amazing to my poor newb AV in 2010. She was generous, funny and always positive.

I knew her and very proud to have been her friend. She was one of the sweetest, kindest people you could ever meet in SL. Free Dove was her passion. It was a lot of passionate hard work that went into keeping it open all these years ....and keeping it free for all.
She is missed.

If the materials are their own texture, then each body must have it's own built in materials texture that is comes with..That would explain why each one is showing different results.
This is exactly right on.
The only way to change the materials is by using a Materials only applier. I don't have any experience with the new Belleza, so I don't know if a dev kit is available for something like that.
A modify version of any body would allow that to be done in edit mode.

Research. A two second google search would have made your post unnecessary:

Which blah? I showed in the pics above. Above: first texture blah; second texture looks like ALM is on but it's done in Photoshop.
This is so confusing. ALM does not add much in the way of vibrancy, color and detail in the diffuse texture. It never has. People have been making lovely vibrant textures for years in here....no ALM needed. ALM is about the materials and the effects of the in game lighting, that can add ADDITIONAL detail and a pseudo 3d texture to an object....for those that wish to go all out.
So, I don't understand what you mean by "second texture looks like ALM is on but it's done in Photoshop." The second texture is going to look just as it does in or out of ALM.

Any clothing item that uses the newer version of the auto hide script , introduced with the V5 bodies can be removed. Instructions here: https://sl-maitreya.blogspot.com/p/alpha-auto-hide.html
Older clothes do not use the newest version. I have also seen some newer clothes still using the old version, which is something the designer needs to update.
The other alternative, is to use the Delete Scripts function on the Maitreya HUD.. MISC Tab. That will delete scripts from the body, auto hide will no longer work...but that also means nothing else on the HUD will work either. Nail polish appliers will no longer work. Alpha cuts on the Alpha tab will no longer work. The body would essentially be saved just as it was when you deleted the scripts.
These days, if you use BOM mode.. you can better get away with this option, as you can now use custom system alphas instead of using the HUD alpha cuts. And of course using BOM layers do not require any sort of scripting.

Personally I like the shape. I am a big fan of the "not quite perfect" look. I think it adds character and also stays just out of reach of the uncanny valley issue. Not that it should matter what I think in any way. Really, if it looks off to you...then it just does.
