    You know when you go into an establishment that has those hand sanitizers at the entrance?   Try doing it when you are wheelchair height.  I get a face full of the bloody stuff or an earful if I turn my face in time.  HATE HATE HATE. 

    (I quite like the smell of my Aloe Vera handbag sized one though.)

    Process credit with alt account

    That might be because billing issues are not dealt with by tickets but by calling billing support

     

    Scripted furniture isn't showing the controls or working?

    My beau and I are working on getting a house set up together and we decided to buy some scripted furniture for the more adult side of life and all that. We demoed all of the items in question at the store repeatedly before we decided to purchase them, but now that we're at home and I'm proceeding on decorating, these items are... not working.

    I've tried removing the items in question, both by taking and deleting them, and putting a fresh item down, going through the edit menu to find where to refresh the scripts and I've done that a few times, and tried to plop the item down in another region to see if it'll work there only to be blocked by 'item cannot be rezzed here' as well. I've been trying to find a sandbox to try them out in but, again, newcomer and I don't tend to know where to look for those.

    However, I figured that we should be able to just pop out the furniture and enjoy ourselves, but that isn't happening. I don't think the rating of the lands we're on would have anything to do with it, but it could? I am still learning the ropes here so any advice on what to do in the future is grand. I also don't think the scripts would be broken, given that I've tried very hard to puzzle this out on my own for a few hours to the point of getting a frustration headache but any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

    I presume you have bought or rented your own land for your home and furniture.  If you right click on the land and choose About Land, a box will pop up.  Then go to the options tab and check that run scripts is ticked for everyone

    First of all the experience you had is horrible and that man [can't add the swear words she needs]    Secondly as someone who has to use a wheelchair some days  (I have MS)  I would love to make some of the offenders of the behaviour spend a day where they have to just use a wheelchair and get an idea of how hard it is to get about anyway without them being a dick.   I would need a whole thread of my own if I started to list everything.  We shouldn't have to get used to other peoples behaviour.

    Instead LL thinks it's more people to let know about their dumb "Election simulator". Like who the hell cares....unless you are yet another silicon valley tech company 

    Don't try to shift the blame to the users, it's the companies responsibilities to establish line of communication between them and the users. They have to send emails and inworld messages and a "popup" message about the migration at secondlife.com

    Also time to make a mobile version. And mobile apps at least for chat. It's nearly 2021.

    You mean like this she just posted .  Blog posts are featured right top and centre of everyones dashboard.  It's not the lindens fault if people don't bother to look.

    Can't log into Market Place

     Peeve - myself. 

    Sitting waiting for a call from my doctor for over an hour before calling the surgery to find out why.  They rang 3 times and didn't get me.  I rant a bit about nothing being wrong with the phone as I am talking to them on it. Eventually they forwarded me to the doc, he sorts the medication out then says  btw do you have call blocking on for witheld numbers  /me  ooops 😊

    btw @Madelaine McMasters  I went to bed at 7 pm and slept solid 11 hours (unheard of) and feel I have shaken off the after effects of the flu shot.  Hope you are feeling better

    I'd never had a reaction to a flu shot before this year. The injection itself was so painless I didn't know the nurse had done it. I thought she was just taking her time with the alcohol swab. The next day, I felt like I'd fallen off a ladder. The day after, I felt like I'd swallowed a bowling ball.  The day after that, I wanted to throw up that bowling ball. It's been six days and I'm still not back to 100%.

    Mine was Tuesday.  Like you no real reaction before and the actual jab I didnt feel a thing.  I was fine yesterday and this morning.  After lunch BAM.  I had to climb into bed and sleep for 2 hours.  I am really hoping it will be a 24 thing.   I hope you feel better soon
