Hi Squashy, just to clarify...I got the names of two different stores mixed up when I posted the original reply. I'm not sure about Simone's store...it was another one that I had read about.
I do agree about her store though, it was confusing and hard to navigate and if I remember, different sections in different buildings/sims :smileysurprised:

I'm almost sure that I read somewhere in the last few days, that she is redesigning the store...she must be making a move, but sounded like she'd be back up and running soon :smileyhappy:
ETA: Oooops, my bad...the reference I was referring to was for "So Many Styles" :smileysad: Sorry!

True, but she probably wouldn't have been able to figure out how to retrieve the answers...that section is a wreck, IMO :smileysad:No one gets "points" for answering questions here but I do agree, the Answers section is not exactly new resident friendly. I would prefer people ask where ever they feel is appropriate rather than not asking at all.Yes, Rhonda...agree totally. I remember when I first came into SL and everything was so new and confusing. When this forum went live, I went to answers to ask a question and had a heck of a time making sense of the format...can only guess what the new people think

I second Kelli's suggestion of going incognito if the attention you get from your av is negative...vampires do carry a stigma of sorts, sadly. Welcome to the forums and good luck

A lot of places have those movement ones that vary...try Vista Animations, they seem to have a big selection
Whichever place you end up, you will have to get up on the demo pad and it will cycle through the different anims, showing you what each one does...good luck and have fun.

What Darren said...and welcome aboard

Ian Undercroft wrote:Sorry to hear about your stalker, Kylie. It's perhaps sensible to "create" pics at a public location (such as an infohub or whatever) and then change the picture and the text. This way no stalker will find his/her way to your home or favourite hang out.
Actually, he really wasn't a stalker in the normal sense...he just knew that it royally p*ssed off my partner at the time, knew it pushed his buttons and riled him up. It kept things interesting for this person, I'm sure :smileyindifferent:

Yes, this is what happened to me. I've been here almost four years now and in the beginning, I had all of that filled out plus pics, etc...until some PITA kept pestering, following, showing up. Became a real nuisance. Someone had mentioned that they could pick up a lot of detail from what I wrote, where the pics were taken and so forth. I emptied my profile then...these type of people kind of take the fun out of everything

LOL...the carrot is sooooo cute!!!
Will have to go through my wardrobe and see what I can come up with

I keep hearing tales of grief and bullies, but I have yet to find it on my own.

Good idea and worth a try, although I'm sure it will be awhile before I hear anything. Thanks, Peewee for the replies and suggestion

I did suggest to one poster with a similar situation to yours, that she take a pic of her stuff in her inventory on the Beta grid, (with the folder open so the techs can see object names) & attaching it to a ticket for "Technical issues". Anything is worth a try.

Yes, it was finished loading...I am so disappointed to end up with even less. Hopefully, will come back in a few days. I did read that post about some not being hers...maybe she has mine Go figure....

Assuming Rick is male, he may not care so much about the lips but more interested in which has the "best nipples" :smileyvery-happy:lol...too true :smileytongue:

I have noticed a few of these questions in the last few days, but I have never come across this before.
After yesterdays rollback, I noticed a whole folder of boots missing, not sure if there is more gone, but this is all I have noticed at that time. My inventory was saying 6762, not including the missing folder. Today, I go to the beta grid and let my inv load. It showed 8866 and did include the boots. I logged back into both Smith and Lime, let the inventory load and both places show 6672, even less than when I started out :smileysad: Any reason for this that anyone would know of? Plus, still no boots....
-
My favs are Laq & Tuli. Don't just look at the recently released ones from these shops if you do not prefer the swollen lip look :smileytongue: They all have them...I'm not fond of that look, so I still go back a couple of releases and demo the ones that were out before this became the fad.

I do remember that you have to toggle certain keys to bring up the option of other grids, but can't find the right sequence...:smileysad:
ETA: Oooooo, Cinn...that was it!!! Thanks so much, will make a note of it :smileytongue: :smileyhappy:
-
I can't remember...does anyone know what keys to select in order to toggle for the option of the aditi grid with snowglobe 1.4? Thanks in advance (I tried searching and couldn't find a reference)
ETA: Nevermind...posted the question in Answers

Stephy Silvercloud wrote:So, after the rolling restarts today, I notice my objects folder is comlpetely wacked! I have stuff i KNOW doesn't belong to me, and missing stuff that should be there, it's completely jacked up. I'm hearing from other ppl who are noticing the same thing happening in their inventories. Anyone else having this happeN?
Yea, went to put on my fav pair of boots and the whole boots folder is gone
Haven't noticed anything else yet...I tried everything, and can't retrieve it :smileymad: A lot of money spent in that category...

Wow...intreresting idea! I don't believe I have seen or heard anything about funerals in SL.
