    This happened - one time, roughly a week ago. Before I closed the viewer, I went to my Account and made certain nothing had changed the settings. Still the same, not activated, good on one hand, but then what the heyyy.  Closed/reopened FS, and worked as usual with no notice.  I have logged in 20+ times since, and it hasn't happened again.  

    I presumed, in my own case and happening only once, that perhaps I mis-typed my "username" where the viewer thought it was someone who *has* activated it.  And I still kind of think that's possible.  If it is working that way, or if the viewer triggers that if it doesn't recognize the username that was entered at all, then that may make sense to me.

    It seems a thankless job.  Hats off to anyone who hangs in there, expertise and all, making any TPV. 

    And amazing to me also that had I only had the SL Default viewer I just bet I would not have lasted much past year-two.  Value.  Appreciation.  It does a body good to think about those things and give some thought, time, and space to let stuff (that you cannot build yourself) work itself out.

    I am good with whatever the rules are of course.

    I managed years ago to attach two tiny but flexi (!) flags to my fav boat without breaking it.  Still my fav boat, out on a Linden Stilt dock right now.  I suppose at first sniff, that is (on its appearance) the same as having a flag on anything.  If I invest money in (the world), I can fly my X.  I know I have neighbors, great neighbors actually, flying other waving flags.  I consider it for the same (innocent) purpose likely, as my own flying of a flag.  Would I put an incendiary flag anywhere in SL?  *No*.  Well, if SL lets me *define* incendiary, I'd say one with "incendiary" current-RL connotations.  We can name them, but we won't.  And I would never fly/sign etc any of those reminders of RL.  Too much of a bummer.  But flying ones own actual country flag, in a zone which is a mosaic of international RL users, seems somewhat positive if one chooses to do so.

    If the rules were to end up being I could not fly a US flag anywhere, then it is what it is.  I would have to, well, I guess rez a prior no-flag version of my boat. But I would be just a little less happy. 

    I hesitate to criticize the actual intent of anyone building their fav/preferred anything in SL, for any reason, because being a grown-up ethical person I realize I don't read minds and I don't own the joint, so it really is not my place, unless it happens *inside my land boundaries*.  I would quietly go right-click-DOINK were it inside my land boundaries, and then let it go.  Its just a linkset, nothing more.

    Disclaimer, this is on first sniff of your question.  I hand it to you though, because would I have even noticed?  Maybe not.
