  1. Even Houseboats pop up from time to time and after catching and releasing twelve of them that were NOT nice my malealt finally found one that seems to be BETTER than the one I own in Sandflea. So after all he might get a years premium and his sister will be downgraded in May.

It is in Port Laury looking at a lighthouse (the yellow one) and just a short walk away from a Traditional in Blackwater Shoals I once owned and hated to part with. Only thing I am not sure of yet is wether or not the LAG is better or worse. How can I test that?

...But I am not into the Newbrooke's, that makes them the third in a row of homes I have never bothered to live in. Chalets, Fantasy and Newbrooke.

Enjoy Newbrooke for the rest of you who want it!

Exactly the same with me! I stick to Traditionals and Houseboats though I did play with a Camper, a Victorian and a Stilt on Pier for some time each ... and a very short time with a Loghome or two.

I don't think I ever abandoned a home as quick as I did today - I literally drag-selected everything in my home and deleted it.

You can abandon a home without emptying it before - LL does that for you! Just abandon a full house and it is empty in a second! ... and you find all your stuff in a bundle in your "lost and found" folder.

  4. When Bellisseria started they made Traditionals and Houseboats, two really NEW themes which are still by far my favourites. The old Core- Bellisseria has grown slowly, without any cloning and has the look, feel and character of a real Continent with coasts and hills, meadows and woods, streets and bridges, parks, cliffs and lighthouses. That's where I want to live on the long run, so it is likely that I will not part with any of the best three of my homes after all, though all my ten avatars could live together in one family home easily enough.

But I spent most of the year 2019 wildly chasing after the ultimate Lindenhome and spent lots of time and premium- money on finally getting those three homes: a Trad on the seashore in Axim, a Trad on the cliffcoast in South Haven with a great view of a lighthouse and a Houseboat in Sandflea with land connection to a sandy Camper region and a more distant lighthouse view.

The Houseboat is the only one I MIGHT exchange for a better one, "better" meaning on a natural feeling coast with Trads instead of Campers and with a lighthouseview nearer by and with less LAG. That's why I just now made another alt premium for a month hoping that the Newbrooke release might put a selection of HBs back onto the market. IF (and I doubt it) he manages to catch a relly BETTER Houseboat I will buy him a year and let go of Sandflea in May when that year ends.

All other themes do not really interest me. I tried for a while with Campers, Victorians and Stilts on Pier when they came out, got really nice ones and decorated them, but after a while decided they were not my cup of tea.

I like a Camper in RL for a week or so in summer but wouldn't care to live there all year round (however nice the scenery) and the Stilt have a Tropical feeling with their palms that doesn't appeal to me. Also the Stilt regions are allready cloned and overall do not look as if they might be a RL landscape, just that they provide as many people as possible with seashore ;)

Same is to be said for the "Squishy Pickle" and its clone. No natural landscape feeling! So IF I find a better boat it would have to be on the coast - prefarably of Old-Bellisseria, one of the early boats released before they made Sqichy Pickle. ...My favourite Home in Axim ...

We've all been there.  I sure wish there was a way to blacklist a home you have abandoned even if the blacklisting only lasted 24 hours.

Keep trying!  There will be some good ones in the next few days or weeks.

    That should happen automatically!

For if you abandon a home you obviously don't want it back straightaway!

The log homes were on April Fool's Day 2020, which was a Wednesday, and the stilts were on December 23, also a Wednesday, although Patch told us that they'd hoped to release them on Monday the 21st, but they ran into some problems that took a while to sort out (possibly involving the uplift?).

That is my impression watching releases very closely since the first one back in 2019:

They want and try to release on Monday or Tuesday. Then some issue occurs and it is delayed Monday -->> Tuesday -- >> Wednesday. If they realize they cannot make it by Wednesday they give up on that week and postpone it till next Monday .... and so on

.... so "soonish" may mean any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from now to March - that's my Guess.

Tomorrow, betting all of my money on it.

Risky! As far as I remember they rever made a big release on a Friday.

They prefer Monday or Tuesday so if anything goes awry they can mend it in due time.
