I agree I have been ejected few times unfriended and people talk with me like a machine like I have no emotion. All hurts me. They did not exeplain me any thing. Making friend is very difficult Talking to people seem to have huge persistance. It is possible but we need try many times. Where are kindnes help ? I remember when I start people help each other. I stopt and start again and I see the difference. You have alone with yourself Maybe nice people exists. But they are unfindable.

It's hard to make friends because most people aren't online or ignore you when you see them again. I read that it is exactly what I experienced. I am happy I am not alone. It was on a forum about sl.

Yes and each people understand differently. I have my own interpretation (probably wrong) other understand differently. Specialy when you use theory or image concept who need cultural background

The topics of the discussion is When you need to talk... and you say I am not chatty !!! Yes you are talking about you. But it is a general question. Why are you on this discussion if you are not chatty. I translate Been chatty is not my cup of tea--> I don't need to chat. How can you comment and help people who need to chat or talk if it is not your cup of coffee?

Internet is not eternal and forever. Even facebook Linden Lab and google will die. We have the right to have an option to delete all our old data. How do you typically approach someone? Yes I almost start with greating : Hello or Hi and yes I hope a respond. But I know that statisticaly I have 20% or response. In this 20% I can continue and as you mention I try to vary the next step. I try not to ask to many question. Because if I always ask question and I receive yes . no or ok or nothing. I know that the conversation is not a conversation but an interogation. Normaly it is reciproque. The other ask question too. When you need to talk... Talking is like playing ping pong for me. You can play against a wall. But it is not the same. Sometimes when you talk it is like a wall. I can make the answer. Always the same. Automatic answer. It is robot. Sometimes I ask if there is human behind. Have you never notice that conversation are very conventional and automatic. Where are personal things? Where are creativity. Conversations in SL are just like RL Sorry to disagree. In RL we see the face we have physical talk (I am missing the word) verbal expression maybe. When you smile it is not like sl smile. SL is not as RL. The rule is not the same. you have never people AFK in RL have you ever seen at work someone you are talking to and no answer? I stop compare SL and RL. As I read in SL all can be fake or I prefer imagination. you choose. When you need to talk... You customize the conversation according to who you are talking. Don't you ? Conversation is never alone. @Nalates Urriah You are saying that I should search help in RL but I have no problem in RL. If I would have I know how to do etc.. I am just searching people not professional not certified nothing just people to talk to. And If I have SL problem will you go to your RL psycholog ? He will not understand you for sure. Because SL is an other world. I always read that SL is like RL. Maybe I am the only one but for me it is not. All is different.

Here on this forum usualy people ask how to have more friends Now the topic is how to have less friends Some people complain because they want to be alone without any social interacton (no IM no TP nothing) and other request for IM TP and fun. Personaly I don't know the rules. There are as many rules as people. Sometimes I am welcome sometimes rejected. If I don't try interaction I am playing alone and in that case SL is useless. Such rules is like lottery. you can have chance or not.

I found skybox with 7 prims 10, 20, 30 prims... just a plateform. And I thought that would be fun to create a home but no idea if 7 prims is 7 houses or if 7 prims is 1 room. My question is how many prims is the minimum to create something

I would like to rent an empty home. I don't want to pay a lot. I am begining in this world. What is your advice to create a minimalist home. How many prims do I need ? And how much does that cost.

How to know if we are banned or not. I cannot go in certain place. And is the banned like quarantaine (temporary of definitf) In other word shall I create a new account to go there or just have patience?

Why is it so difficult making friends here? That is a good question. And I have different hypotheses. After a long period of break I start playing again. My friendlist was not so long maybe 20 contact and when I started all was gone inactive. So I try to makes friends. And it is not easy. This is a fact. Maybe I choose the wrong gender. The wrong avatar or I don't know what is wrong. But each time when I try to talk I am feeling that I disturbe or worst I offence. I try different approach. the most classical and boring like Hi how are you ... To the most creative, funny or joking. It is simple like people here have all a full friend list and don't want more. the best case they listen politely and reply by a only word. OK yes thank you. If I wait I receive never a Hi or just a word. So I have to start talking. And if you read profile. Starting talking are now conditional. You need a nice avatar (I noticed that when I had my old avatar it was harder), you don't have to start by Hi and other words. (I always learn that it is polite to start by hi maybe it is not now I am confused) and other condition been in character or pay. I think SL has changed. Most people here know how to do it and know the culture and the code. What to say how to do things etc. and there is no tolerance for people who do not know or who try a new way. All is about business. I remember the last time I had a conversation. It was nice but finaly the question was : Are you interested in buying a land. When I said no. STOP !!!! Normal friendship without interest like in normal word does not exist anymore. why is it so difficult ? People are full of friends. they are here for business and not for friends.
