    Try to explain your situation, but if your roomate is the reason for the ban, you should get rid of it before.

    Anyway a permanent IP ban is nothing you receive from running around swearing or naked in a P Sim !

    There is no chance to get this one back, other than LL believe you.

    A DJ without voice is playing internet radio ... no use for a club.

    Don´t forget you need all the music (legal), softare (legal or free) AND a DJ license (in some/most countries) I know the last is the most ignored thing but if someone reports you  - ouch.

    Choose free software is ok, some of them do a great job for an SL-DJ.

    One last thing, most clubs now only hire DJs with their own group of followers, it´s less about music more about guests. The cost for the music and server are usually more than you can make in L$:

    Hallo, hier sind nur "normale" Menschen kaum ein offizieller von LL und noch unwarscheinlicher wenn die Frage in Deutsch ist.

    Ein Bild sagt mehr als tausend Worte. Leider kann niemand mit so wenig Informationen was anfangen.

    Lillith hat schon einen guten Hinweis gegeben, könnte auch was sein was du trägst oder ein Script irgendwo sonst ...

    No it´s not, of course, the hype some of us have seen is over.

    For me, i said it before, Mesh was the last nail ...

    Now we have alot resellers of premade mesh with more or less different textures.

    Creators with amazing skills in blender, but only with a throw-away character to upload to marketplace. (Why can´t they upload things without login ? well, better not O.o

    It´s not creators started as "normal" Users and then evolved into creators and THAT´S what changed SL.

    SL ist viel zu Hardware hungrig für "kleinere" laptops und WLans. Vor einigen Jahren ging das noch mehr schlecht als recht. Durch Mesh und Phyisics und .... ist eine WLan-Verbindung, egal wie toll die Provider sie bewerben, nicht ausreichend. Das wird mit jedem Update schlimmer.

    Wenn man alle Settings nach unten gedreht hat, Grafik, Sound aus kein RLV .... dann mag es noch leidlich funktionieren aber das "Erlebnis" SL ist dann eher mau.

    Vergleiche mal was Leute mit älteren Laptops und welche mit Super-Duper PCs in SL erleben. Kein Vergleich. (leider ?! tja kommt darauf an ob man sich so etwas leisten kann)

    Amazing Technology?

    Despite all the saying new technology creates new great workplaces, it doesn´t. After all the small shops around the corner vanished and all is done by Amazon we will see.

    Smartphones are great but i still prefer face to face without auto-correction annoying me correcting all to the wrong ...

    This funny new world is good for people who can afford it and the rest ...

    Don´t get me wrong, i love all the new gimmicks but i could do without alot of them.

    Where is the fun in go shopping, hunting, finding when you can type in search and others filter what you might want ? or often not.

    Just have in mind the 2 hours offline for WhatsApp. So many people didn´t know what to do running around headless. That is not the great new world i want to live in :ph34r:

    Oh wow und ich dachte die sind um jeden Nutzer froh B| das gibt doch Kohle an der Börse.

    Leider suggeriert der SL Client, daß es eine Verbindung von SL-Account zu Facebook-Account gibt. Dumm nur, daß damit SL-Avatar -> RL Person gemeint ist.

    Was ist überhaupt der Nutzen eines SL Avatars einen Facebook Account zu haben ? Nein, nicht Antworten das war rein rhetorisch.

    Musicals oder Theatervorführungen

    Hallo, es gibt gab? Orte an denen klassisches Ballet vorgeführt wurde. Aber durch die Limitierung auf vorgefertigte Animationen die auch noch auf eine geringe Länge beschränkt sind, ja kann man verknüpfen aber das laaaag..., sind richtige Musicals oder solche Veranstaltungen in SL doch recht dröge. Schon der Live-Auftritt von Sängern beschränkt sich auf rumstehen, Mikro halten, mal ein paar Schritte, Gitarre spielen und das war´s.

    Man kann einiges machen aber der Aufwand ist so immens und wenn dann noch das LagMonster zuschlägt sehen die meisten nur noch wild zappelnde Avatare unsychron zueinander oder zur Musik.

    Also, selbst wenn man so etwas findet, dürfte die Qualität nur durchschnittlich sein - was nicht an den Darstellern liegt.

    Kurz gesagt, nein. Nicht nur die Rechte auch die Exportfunktionen sind ein Problem.

    Es gibt, gab eine komplizierte Lösung - die leider manchmal mehr als erlaubt kopiert hat - aber dazu muss man C# kennen und einigermaßen geübt sein. Außerdem ist dieses Tool nicht offiziell ...

    Late answer, there might be a iPhone (iPad) text-only viewer available in the near future, but that´s a question of Apple´s strict limits what apps can/can´t do.

    Die Forenübersicht ist unübersichtlich. Forenname zu groß Beiträge zu klein.

    Sollten jetzt endlich Umlaute funktionieren ? äöü wow das ist gut, hat auch 10 Jahre gedauert.

    Es gibt keine Answer section mehr? Diese wurde zwar oft falsch benutzt aber ein Topic zu öffnen ist auch nicht immer das Beste.Doch gibts noch aber gaaaanz unten.

    Die Standard-Avatare fehlen.

    Ansonsten finde ich alles etwas zu groß geraten, das hilft der Übersicht eher nicht.

    Hallo, kein offzieller wird dir hier antworten. Schon weil sie kein Deutsch sprechen.

    Was ist denn auf deinem Dashboard, Startseite und <TransactionHistory> zu sehen (sorry habe alles auf Englisch)

    Wurde eine email von LL gesandt, moeglicherweise ist die unter Spam, passiert mir dauernd. Bloede mail-software mag Linden-Server nicht :matte-motes-big-grin-evil:

    Ansonsten bleibt nur der Weg eines Tickets. Aber da bitte keine schnelle Antwort erwarten.

    Falls Du des englischen maechtig bist, kann man auch den Support anrufen. Auch der deutsche Support spricht nur Englisch. (Laecherlich ist noch untertrieben)

    Hi, without knowing with what your dances are replaced it could be alot ...

    First in mind comes that you bought "stolen","copybotted" items and the owner filed a DMCA. Then the products related to this will be replaced by a useless item. As i remember they are renamed to something with DMCA in it, but that too long ago.

    Anyway, first to ask is the seller because the forums are not for technical support of products someone made money with.

    Hallo,

    the IP adress means nothing. I can give you mine and then you have to search about 2.000.000 people to find me, maybe.

    Now dear people, seriously. You are using an internet browser, i guess ? This not only knows your IP, it knows your location on GPS or triangulation.

    Or even worse using WhatsApp or Facebook that not only knows and gives out your home-adress, yes you signed that they are allowed to do that, this 2 even send your location when you chat or  taking a picture.

    So folks please stop being paranoid about SL DJs knocking at your door :matte-motes-big-grin:

    why has Linden Labs not developed an app or viewer for iphones?

    Hello,

    Pocket Metaverse is not only not supported is was removed from App-Store long ago.

    If you have an older version it usually works, more or less.

    As stated in other posts, you cannot just make an iPhone app. All Apps for Apple products go through a review by apple. If you make an app that is only for a "closed" group, Apple will refuse it.

    The Viewer for MacBooks ... is just a squeezed into version from the original viewer. An iPhone app would have to be a complete new source-code and for the user-base buying it, no not everything on the net is for free, it´s simply not worth.

    Hi, well KarenMichelle they do, trust me, i payed once because one song i played wasn´t legal. Means this song is banned in my country.

    It was a big thing with police searching my home bla bla and expensive too, for me.

    So, yes in some countries, not all, authorities check online radios AND even virtual world streams.

    Hello, you simply can NOT.

    There are no apps available to play or at least connect to SL. 

    This is because of the restrictions apple put on apps and because the effort to write an app from nothing, all the libs used on Windows or Android won´t work on apple machines, will never pay out.
