  1. I addition to others good replies, note that you wont be charged extra fees for changing home nor it will affect your membership plan: due date and monthly fees for premium will remain the same, as well as your 300L weekly stipend. (btw, the Meadowbrook houses are the largest ones, while Tahoe ones give more a sensation of space arounf the homes). You may wait and refresh you browser until the home you like best shows available.
  2. follow the advice about the Jira in your partners thread.
  3. When you purchased the horse there might have been a notecard with instructions on how to contact Amaretto. You could try contacting the person that sold you the horse with a notecard.
  4. Here is the website: https://support.secondlife.com/contact-support/ And here is the link to Billing Support: https://support.secondlife.com/billing-support/
  5. Did you try a Third Party Viewer to see if you get the same result? http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory Does the message tell you that you can log in again after a date and time? I checked here and where it mentions issues with log ins it says they corrected them: http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ You could try contacting LL to see if it is an issue with your account or just an issue on their end. Maybe someone else has some advice.
  6. I was able to find a few links that might be helpful to your situation: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Login-failure/ta-p/700109 http://community.secondlife.com/t5/forums/replypage/board-id/sla_viewers/message-id/2368 http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/SL-Cannot-Be-Accessed/qaq-p/915315
  7. Try downloading directly from their site and reinstalling. Reboot the computer after. Duplicate thread: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Account/I-cannot-log-in-anymore/qaq-p/1018365
  8. With the new profiles is it possible to select pictures from ones in world inventory for the profile pictures? If anyone has figured out a way to do that please let me know. Thanks.

Oooh that's interesting, because Answers might be behaving more like a normal forum after its fixed, so maybe they won't count towards rank there either after that. Ohh, well then it would be good if they could also remove the kudos from influencing rank. I didnt know they had anything to do with someones rank.
  10. You missed the edit to the other post: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Forums-Feedback/Kudos-in-other-areas/m-p/994173#M2038 I do not recall it being nearly 100% that didnt like kudos. In fact I recall threads from people who wanted to give kudos to other people in other threads and were giving "kudos" inside of posts to others who posted in the thread. I do recall a lot of voices against the ranking system and how that was done. Kudos are just little stars to give appreciation for something.

It was seen as a popularity contest and would further the concept of "cliques". And in all honesty I believe that is exactly what would have happened. But, me being me, I would have liked it too.........for the fights and battles that would erupt. LL doesn't like that (and many users of the forums claim they don't either..........not nearly as many actually do as those who say they hate such stuff). I suppose it was a wise move on LL's part. These forums are much calmer the way they implimented the feature. It actually works pretty well in Answers and on the limited forums they allow it now. General discussion? Another story.............it would be fun (for me) but this place would be a mine field. :matte-motes-big-grin: As I recall not everyone voiced an opinion against kudos or rank. There were those that liked the system. Nothing is every 100% of anything. Edited to make a correction: I read this "The kudos were hated by nearly 100% of the users of SL forums. " As "The kudos were hated by 100% of the users of SL forums." Sorry about that. Basically I have been around as a reader/lurker since the old forum was in place and recall the transition to the new system. All systems have flaws and none are perfect. I know in the new setting the fighting and bickering has pretty much disappeared. I attribute that to the moderation of the new forum more than anything. Kudos to me are a genuine appreciation of what was posted for whatever reason. Even now in the other areas where it is at kudos are from what I see given to and from people who know each other or have given and gotten kudos from each other before.
  12. It would be nice to be able to give Kudos for all posts no matter where they are. I have seen some posts in the People Forums that would be nice to give kudos for yet there is no option.

Do you think you will post to this forum more often now that GD is back? What differentiates the fora from each other? Why do you like it here? What are SLO, SLU, SCII? When I first started coming to the forums I actually didnt know there was anywhere else other than General Discussion. :matte-motes-smile:

Groups need to have at least two people in them. If less than two people are in the group for 48 hours, it will be disbanded. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Groups Thanks for the link to the groups information. Where do you post suggestions and ideas for future features of SL?
  16. Is it possible to do the following; and if so how? 1. Delete the group? 2. Remove anyone other than the person that created it from being an "owner" of the group? 3. Change the group name? I have heard that if everyone except for one person leaves a group then it disappears, is that true? Or does everyone have to leave?
