Having a Forum specific to Contests would allow: All Contests to be in one ForumAll Contests to be easily identified as a contest.The Forum could be located above the People Forum.

In the Community Help area it says in regards to Kudos: The Kudos option is available in Second Life Answers, the Knowledge Base and the Creation Forums.
