It’s the Bay City Rumble …and it’s Wildcard week!!! For “Fleet Week” we celebrated salty sailors’ return from the slurly Sansara seas as we sailed Bay City shores for Fleet Week Fun! Some rough seas saw several soaked sailors swimming swiftly back to shore. Marianne McCann won brarrrgging rights…yes that bragging with an arrr in the middle…and fun was had by all! "Totally Innocent Tourists" This week the Rumble hits the road as we embark offsite for a friendly sightseeing tour. Rumble Road Trip: so don your best (disguise) travel attire and come to the Community Center to (conspire) plan our tour. We’ll TP the friendly skies (to spy) we have no specific destination (Caledon) in mind and no saying what we’re (hoping) to find (war mongering steam-punk imperialists and their munitions stores). Races to start 7pm ish (SLT) and a slurl will be posted sometime in advance and just prior to the race. Courses will change ‘a course…and each week will be a different theme… i.e. boat, plane, car, etc. …Ok we’ll try to mix it up a bit that is. Plans are also in the works for a “Wild Card” week. So…come one, come all…come as you are and show off your need for speed. Prizes: winners….well all racers are winners of course…so let’s say …”survivors” to get well deserved bragging rights. In spite of crashes and smashes we all had a bash. This week we’re now ready to splash. We’ll bring out the party barge and live it up large. Chill on the barge if you please on the North Channel seas. Or bring on the smiles running speed trials ‘round the isles. Meetup at the N. Channel rez zone. Come one. It’s the Bay City Rumble! Last week was insane as several residents raced to escape the Channel Asylum, only to end up at yet another asylum and back again! Nuts! Pygar Bu laughingly led the loony lot for the win. The win to the looney bin haha-hoho-hehe. And we’re still crazy – crazy for cars that is… cars, trucks, motorbikes, if you’ve got wheels come make ‘em squeal! Let’s burn some rebel rubber as we race down Route 66. Yes we’re rebel rubber rumble rousers ( say that 4 times fast) and as always ….it's Unofficial!!! (that would be the rebel part). Muscle your way in, for a racy chance to win! It’s official; we’re CRAZY about the Bay City Rumble… and its’ WILDCARD WEEK! Last week it was anchors aweigh as sailors seasoned and not so much …stormed the high SL seas starting at the Southern Channel from the Gulf of Lauren sailing on to the ANWR channel; all racing for bragging rights booty. Qie Niangao took the lead and both survivors and winners docked at ANWR and inspected the infamous prim drilling rig. Later Pygar Bu sailed us all safely home on his crusty ..er…trusty old Tugboat. This week’s gonna be INSANE with rumble MANIA as we race wheelchairs from the Channel Island Asylum at South Channel to the Asylum at Falmouth and back again…maybe a few times even… as Rumble MADNESS takes its toll! Last week saw many wheels squealing down Route 66 with Pygar Bu taking the lead. There was crashing and smashing but the sim held up and so did everyone’s spirits. This week we’re celebrating fresh new waters in the region and will be racing boats. We gotta regatta… come one, come all; come float your boat Thursday (Tonight) 7PMish SLT starting at: the North Channel rez zone Last week: Waiting at the start…watch out for kids on scooters ;P After the race I offered limo rides home, but having seen my driving, the transport of choice swiftly became hoverboards

Hey all you RACE FANS! It’s the Bay City Rumble… and it’s entirely unofficial. Last week saw several planes and other assorted flying machines in and around the Hau Koda airport in Bay City. While there were multiple reports of crashes…surprisingly no sims were harmed at the event. This week’s Bay City Rumble is all about cars! (the bars come after the cars) …ok cars, trucks, motorbikes; if ya got wheels let’s hear ‘em squeal. We’re racing route 66 from the Truro rez zone to the N. Channel Fairgrounds on Thursday (14) at 7PMish SLT...be it miniscule or monstrous bring your muscle and lets RUMBLE! I know some of you took some good pics...let's see them!

I had to go see this too. Wow... just goes to show a little imagination and creativity can go a long way in SL. Loved it!

I like the mess! I also love the many surprises and themed areas like Bay City where I now have two lots . I like that you meet more newbies and a seeming wider variety of creatures on mainland. I like to be able to fly from sim to sim to sim. I like that even the themed cities are not so themed they are ridiculously postcard-like. Don’t get me wrong I’ve had some beautiful places on private sims… but also issues with owners changing hands… and changing covenants etc. I’ve (almost) always found people to be friendly on the mainland…with people keeping more to themselves on private sims… maybe I’ll try another someday. But mostly diversity rules the day for me.
