I can't log in from some three hours.
I can't access secondlife.com site.
status.secondlifegrid.net seems like a pic, a static image never changing
My ISP allows me to reach the rest of the world, so where is the bug?
-
Don't think they need attacks to fail...

I could see this coming. I knew this new version of firestorm had a major bug. When taking large resolution snapshots, when I save to my disk I get a black image saved instead of a snap most of the time. I was going to report it to the firestorm team but didn't have the time to make an account on their website to report the bug. I wonder if anyone else has been experiencing this since the last update? I did a clean uninstall just a few days ago and downloaded a fresh version but nada. Still having the same issue with snapshots...I hope this will be fixed in the maintenance!
I hadn't that problem with latest release; instead, several gestures stopped working and with 90% of logins I have big issues in inventory fetching.

Here web sites are back, but no way to log in.

"Login failed.
Often this means that your computer's clock is set incorrectly.
Please go to Control Panels and make sure the time and date are set correctly. [SERIOUSLY?!?!?!]
Also check that your network and firewall are set up correctly.
If you continue to receive this error, please go to the Support section of the Secondlife.com web site [UNREACHABLE] and report the problem."

Ahhh... it's only intermittent. What a relief.

No inworld, no secondlife site, no marketplace site.

It is possible that you are encountering what we call the "flat inventory" issue. This means that your inventory is not sub-divided into folder / sub-folders enough. Instead you have too many items in a single folder. Open a Support ticket to LL -- see the link on the right side of the forum pages (not this thread, but main pages) - tell them you think you might have a "flat inventory" issue. They have utilities to fix it.
Note however, that if you are also having issues connecting to this or any other website, it really is more likely an ISP / Connection issue.
Thank you LittleMe, but my inventory is well managed from years.

where are that lot of users? you can't log in so won't be seeing them inworld... and i see nothing at the forums except your post.
There are other posts and it's evident. But since I can see people is writing here NOT to help, farewell.

Despite what any of your friends might be saying about misc problems they are having, the grid itself is up and roughly the normal number of users are logged in. Thus if you are having issues, it is isolated. Try logging in to a different region. If you are talking to others that are having problems, does this mean that you are sometime getting logged in or are you chatting outside of SL? Give us more details of exactly what you are doing, exactly what any messages say, even maybe a screen shot.
Messages:
"Logging in..."
Screen shot: black login screen.
Amen.

perhaps because there is nothing to say?... no problems here , and 45600 online.. does sound more like a problem at your or isp side. try resetting your connection.
Already did that hours ago. Unuseful.
A lot of users say the same. Not a local problem. Grid status is becoming ridiculous.
-
Stuck on "Logging in...", it happens at least from 4-5 hours... no change... grid status says NOTHING. Shame.
-
https://status.secondlifegrid.net/ is not helping at all... they say everything is operational... meanwhile NO log in, NO SL web site... it's a shame.
-
It is NOT account specific. I could log in only 2 times in the afternoon, my inventory was not loading, and friends were telling me they had a LOT of problems too. Come on...
-
Not logging in from HOURS, and Second Life web site working 1 time out of 30.
https://status.secondlifegrid.net/ says EVERYTHING is operational.
Is this a bad joke?
-
Oh... logged in now.
-
My login attempts get no answer... just hung up
-
Yes... impossible to login. And the great Status page says nothing about.
-
in Helper's reply:
"it's just SL as always... sometimes a bit buggy"
this is not "sometimes". this is 3 DAYS, for me, of SL not working.

From some 3 days,
- it is almost impossible to pass a sim crossing, even flying as avatar!
- teleporting works... 30%? 40%? of the times
- rezzing sims is so worse than before
- people list is frequently not completed with names, and you can't read the name of an avatar even recalling its profile
- most of the times, if you move from a sim to a close one, your avatar is blocked and you soon crash.
So, where are the official answers? "status.secondlifegrid.net" has been eliminated, it's all redirected to an useless blog.
:smileymad:

I cannot log in from several hours. :matte-motes-sour:
My viewer alwasy stops on "Logging in...", very very very rarely it stops on "Connecting to region...".
My connection is OK, tested several times. My PC has been rebooted. The cache has been cleared.
Trying to connect with another avatar... it works most of the times, but with some issue (teleporting can lead to a crash; slow rezzing and very slow opening of group member lists; long time to rez someone inworld...).
http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ says NOTHING at all about login problems. What's happening???
Note added:
I already tried to log in to different sims. No change.
