    Scylla, I very much appreciate your input when it comes to others' photography. You are a joy, and I hope you stick around for a long while! Your expression in this picture shows your enjoyment with your friend and I absolutely love it. <3

    so, i'm having some difficulties. i have an object that i put on my parcel that i made invisible due to its options, but i have no way how to see it now to disable/remove it. can someone help me figure this out please? :-)

    Hey there, my name is Lunaea [Lu-nay-yuh] but I go by Lulu. I'm 29 and I joined SL 4 years ago but never dedicated myself to anything on this platform until recently. I'm a pretty outspoken individual concerning certain topics. I have a lot of opinions on things. I might get mouthy sometimes in the forums, but I love all people. I've been told by people throughout my life that I am intimidating, but I'm just a small (5'2") sweet girl at the end of the day! Get to know me and this will be proven!

    I am a housewifey. Most of my time is spent IRL tending to my home/husband and beloved cats. But I love drinking my cocktails and I shmoke the good $hit regularly (Mary J). I'm a very laidback person, honestly, and I mainly keep to myself on SL. I love spending time on my own beachfront parcel, dancing at clubs, surfing, looking for new aesthetic locations to chill at, and caring for my KittyKatS. What I love most are discussions of history. Other than history, my RL interests include: music (I am an amateur pianist), art (I sketch), poetry, cooking/baking, MMORPG games.....I can't think of more at the moment. :-)

    I love being introduced to new things, and I know SL has a TON of stuff to be apart of, I just never know where to look. Hit me up if you want to talk! If not, that's totally fine too. :-)

    Meanwhile, this is also an interesting thread about the Metaverse featuring our own Dusan Writer and Scoble. Where Apple is going to own everybody and everything in like 9 months?     Say, you know that lady who is out there Facebook whistleblowing now as a former employee, who leaked thousands of documents? Bet she still has FB stock. 

    My theory about the complaints people have about social media ruining civil society is that yes, I wrote about this 15 years ago, and everyone laughed at me. And really, it's more about how you have to make better humans from the inside out, then you will not have these things like Facebook being so destructive, but then, that's much harder work and people don't like the conclusions you need to draw in order to do that hard work.

    I never click on anything on the right side of Facebook so this fear of fake news and fake ads just doesn't touch me.

     

    usually, and from my understanding, when social media platforms go down without warning, it's either due to hacking, or it's intentionally done in order to hide something. considering that if there's maintenance, it's usually announced....and that wasn't the case.

    four theories that were going around as to why FB and its other apps went down: anonymous hacked them, fb was hacked and 1.5billion users data was shared on the dark web (separate from anonymous), the 60 minute video exposing FB and saying there needs to be more govt control, and to suppress people from seeing the tyranny going on in Australia. 

    crazy what's going on in the world, really. don't know what to make of all of it.
