    I was cycling through items in the jewelry folder when I noticed Cora had no fingernails.  Well, I just put on a new skin, so I'm trying to figure out what happened.  My mind is thinking that everything is BOM now, so do I need BOM nails?  The only thing I really changed was the skin.  Does BOM skin cover nails?  I don't remember this happening on any other avatars.  I open the body HUD and start clicking all the nail colors.  Nothing happens.  It can't be appliers, right?  I am using a BOM body.  I try all the nail appliers anyway.  Nothing happens.  Uummm...  I look on Marketplace for BOM nail polish. Yeah, that's not the problem.  No such thing.  I am about a half hour into obsessing over the nails by this time.

    I considered looking for a tutorial to find out where I messed up, but first, the body HUD one more time.  I'm clicking all over the HUD hoping for a miracle or at least a light bulb appearing over my head, when I click the nail length thinking maybe the nails are just tiny. 😄 The nails appear!  Yes, at some point in time I had turned them off.  I can't remember when.  Cora has been wandering around SL for months or years (who knows how long) with her nails turned off.

    This adventure in dressing an avatar has been brought to you by 12 1/2 years of being in SL and still not knowing what the hell I'm doing.

    So, here is a picture of updated Cora... and it doesn't even show the hands. Gawd!!! 

    The rest of you make having a new outfit everyday look effortless and then there's me. 😊

    Thank you! Each head has her own shape. I can't say I like one specifically, I guess it depends largely on what kinda mood I'm in or what kinda image I want..?

    There is nothing wrong and everything right about this image! Porcelain skin, freckles, OMG those eyes, uniquely colored hair. I love it!

    I've always been quite punky and alternative in dress style but don't like to exclude myself with labels and enjoy good music of all genres and tastes. I also play guitar and sing and have experience playing live gigs. So the idea of being able to do that here on SL intrigues me too

    I'd like to eventually invest in real estate and create houses, shops, clubs and more once I learn how to (My mind is currently buzzing with ideas). But I still have a lot to learn before getting that far. So, I'm currently just walking around getting the hang of the controls and learning how to do things. I'm hoping soon to start a garden or farm and build it up from there so that by the time I have a substantial amount of capital to invest in Real Estate, then I'll hopefully have a good bit of skill and experienced acquired by then to be able to do it all.

    I'd like to meet people who would be willing to teach me how to do things. Ideally people with similar goals. But this is not essential as I'm still just discovering the SL world and all it's possibilities. So my mind is still open to new ideas and collaborations.

    I am also a Transgender girl and would be nice to meet more people like me too but I enjoy making friends with all sorts of people of all genders, races and backgrounds.

    Please feel free to stop and say hello if you see me In-world. I'm still getting the hang of the in game chat and messenger, so please bear with me and I'll get back to you as quick as I can
