Thank you for the basic outline! Glad to see I was at least on the right track with it. Very much appreciated! -

Thank you so much for your reply! Definitely makes me feel much less awkward about reaching out to them now. -

I guess this question is mainly geared towards store owners... but what would be the best (non-invasive) way to get a response (even if it's a no) from a shop owner asking if an item they created would still be available for purchase if I can't currently find it in their store? I assume it's a slightly older item or possibly an event item/gift so perhaps that's why it's no longer there. I don't ever want to be a bother but I still figure it's worth reaching out if there's even a possibility of being able to buy it from them. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Dancing Emote and Service Questions

Thank you both for your feedback and advice, It was very helpful and informative! Admittedly, I've been doing less of both dancing and escorting as of recently. For the time being I've mostly just been having some casual fun with people as I try to get a better grasp on emoting on the fly (though every now and then I have picked up a client or two). It's been a lot of fun and very educational to say the least. That being said, I definitely agree with the preferring escorting over dancing. A lot more exciting things can be done with a person than with a pole. -
Dancing Emote and Service Questions

Wow! I didn't expect to receive any kind of quick responses as I wasn't sure if my questions were too obvious or overly asked, so I really appreciate the feedback! Yeah, that's understandable. When I was briefly considering trying to work as an 'employed dancer', I quickly realized some of the rules seemed a bit too restrictive for my liking. I'm here for fun and to make some $L on the side and unfortunately they make it sound like such an obligation (well... it's a job, so I understand it absolutely *IS* an obligation. Just not one I'd currently be willing to take on unless I found the r -
Hi I'm Alix, I'm 24. I've been on here for about 3 months now. I was lucky enough to join when a lot of stores were giving away gifts for everyone being stuck at home; Because of this, I've had a pretty good experience on here so far (I seem to have skipped a lot of the aesthetic newbie growing pains I've heard others talk about). I enjoy exploring random places and listening to music (my taste in music is kind of all over the place as I've always been exposed to a variety of it). I like to go hunting for freebies and find myself decorating my small but comfy place a lot. As RL bleeds ove

Hi everyone, So, here's a bit of backstory before I get onto to my questions. I've only been on SL for a few months. During this time, I've done a small bit of dancing and escorting here and there but mostly due to receiving a couple weird requests early on... that although didn't all end in sex per-say, definitely ventured me into that strange fetishy part of SL. Although it did come across like a weird but (mostly) fun writing assignment (and was surprisingly lucrative?), after those experiences I'm still not quite sure I want to pursue escorting (even though I find that much easier tha
