    You know RL planes fly over your home all the time RL. They aren't trespassing, they are simply passing by.

    Ban lines only go so high, though many orb the area over them in its entirety and don't set a reasonable kick time, some are even so incompotent as to set one and tell it to eject from the *region* when they own a tiny 1024 and then get all shocked when LL comes in to handle the abuse reports from all their neighbors they started screaming at for "trespassing" (sounds familiar, that) when their poorly configured freebie orb was encroaching instead.

    To think you own the entierty of the world from build limit to water table and then compare it to real life encrochment on your home is rather entitled.

    It is quite easy to incluse an orb with zones that protects your actual build from trespassing. It only take a little more effort, and a modicum of intelligence, to only protect the areas you use while letting people who have no interest in your stacked cereal boxes pass by without even noticing you rather than turning on AA guns and shooting at passenger jets leaving them to wonder just what is going on there to make someone so bloody irrationally paranoid.

    Sure, it's easier for someone to click a button and rez a free "security" object, but then they often get stuck on defense of their paranoia and start yelling and throwing attacks at everyone who disagrees with them ;)

    I think Philip/LL was a bit too idealistic when They rigged mainland. If they had done it in another way there wouldnt have been this much  ”hate” between different groups of ppl. They could have made housing instanced (with a LL made house on ground as a place holder maybee?) on mainland and the land/roads open for everyone to explore with only shops and that kind of stuff at ground level. Or orbs only allowed over 500m up in the sky or something. Then some continents totally free from restrictions (and orbs?) so ppl could choose. Market decides what is worth pursuing. Maybee this was impossible due to tech reasons Im not aware of? Or maybee we would miss the drama and the wild west feeling? 🙃

    Only me roaming this old thread? Last week iv been trying for a fantasy home as i was curious of the tree houses. But dork as i am i didnt managed to get the controls to work so after a few i gave up. (That was destiny!) There was a few abandoned Vics so i though i might as well try one for kicks. I was lucky to get this one and after a few days in the small cottage i changed to the Shelley, and BAM there it was again. My old Embassy for Peace and Human rights 🤩 I felt I had to try to set it up again, for the third time (first time in Newbrooke and second in McIntyre-Mainland). This time in this old lovely Victorian setting (not quite finished yet though). I have to thank you who abandoned this beauty in Quixote, im so grateful. Iv never liked Vics much and always prefered Trads, but I really love this one, im starting to finally realise why Vics are so popular.     Any mole reading this: Iv tried two fantasy houses now and i get this message everytime i try to change the house: Sorry, but the scripts in the HouseController have just been reset and are still initializing.

    So when all residents of Bellisseria and their aunties went to get a tree house (I can understand why, they are awezome!) I thought Yes! Now is the time to get a Traditional!     Also - where the hay are all the Victorian homes going? I had a nice one next to a square but gave it up because I was really after a waterfront spot and haven't seen any vics for days when rolling.. :/

So today i got my house and.... (i just realised this might be the wrong thread to publish this in? Beautyful abandons?).     Frozen animations

    Hi 

    Iv been encountering a strange bug lately. Everytime i log in im stuck in a strange animation and the head doesnt respond to the in built animations (LeL). So everytime i log in i have to reset skeleton and animations. Anyone else have had this problem? Been going on for days now...

    I am really sorry for you and I understand you have challenges in your life but you have at least 10 mainland continents and loads of private islands in SL where you can have this privacy. Just not in Bellisseria. It wouldn´t be a wise business decision to lock down the whole grid because some people feel they need security to this extent.

    I don't like the belli covenant so I won't live there, quite simple.

    My place is, as i mentioned earlier, open to everyone and their auntie. BUT there is one exception and that is my closest neighbours who has banlines up. I banned them from my parcel as I realised they like banlines and wants to see more of them so ofc I dont want to make them disappointed 😁😘

    Im a bit envious of all, even if we call them "uninvited", guests some ppl gets on their parcels. My advice is to, instead of an orb, set up a "Welcome" sign as i always have. Im member of "Forever tourist" too to get more visitors but most weeks i have zero (0) visitors :( (I dont have any visitor counter but i get a report from Forever tourist every week). I have always felt secure in SL, im more careful about who i interact with irl. Even in games iv played where iv been spawn ganked again and again i felt secure, irritated maybee 😆 but still secure ❤️

    What made you want land in sl?

    I wanted to own land mostly to be able to build something i believe in and share it with others. I seldom build ”homes” for private use. Its fun with visitors 😊 And I prefer to ”own” mainland as i can relax and dont miss payments (and weekly stipend!). 

    I started by renting a house 2008 in Second Sweden though. I miss that community feeling a lot… 💔 its a bit hard to find communitys in SL when u are in EU time zone 🥺

    I dunno if this is the right forum thread but here goes. My friend tried Senra Jamie and she cant get her hands to animate naturally. It looks like default hands. Tried everything, detach all, build from ground agan, reset skeleton, animation, change ao, remove ao... She tried to wash the dishes and other animations and the hands started to work after that but soon again went back to "default hands". Nothing works so back to Maitreya. Is it a glitch with the new body? handsSenra_001.thumb.png.07493326823bdb553d578a7a3af450fd.png
