@Abnor Mole @Quartz Mole If it's in every house of that model, it seems like they would need to update the copy that's in the house rezzer and tell people to rez a new house. Has anyone even told them this problem exists so it can be put onto the list of things to address in time?
I've contacted live support about this last week. Squeaky Mole already came to my house to take a look at it and said they would work on a fix.

Is that a new housestyle or am I going mad?
Looks like it. The current Traditional homes don't have a porch like that, unless you buy an add-on.

Like some other people stated already, first of all: name the animations! Same with the texture menus. I know nothing about scripting and stuff, but is it really that much harder to name the textures red, blue and green, instead of 1,2 and 3? It would save people alot of time if they wouldn't have to cycle through the whole menu to find the right animation/texture.
For the PG animations for 2 avatars, start with a default animation that is not a cuddle, but is "friends only". I hate to end up in someone's lap when I'm sitting down with someone who is just a friend. Also start with a "normal" animation as a default.....I once bought a bench that started with some weird animation that made you both float in the air when a second avatar sat on it. It's fine if you want to add a funny animation like that somewhere down the menu, but only as an option and not as the default animation please. It annoyed me so much that i got rid of that bench.

Thank you Blush and Ethan, that was very helpful. I'm glad I won't have to get rid of my mainland parcel.
By the way, I don't know why it posted my question twice, but the forums were very laggy at the time lol

I already own 1104m² of mainland (bought for group, so free of tier). Can I also get one of the new Linden Homes and just pay tier on it, I think it's $7 a month for the extra 1024m², or do I have to sell/abandon my current mainland to be able to grab a Linden Home? I'd like to have both.

So in order to get the 1120 instead of 1024 m2, by deeding and buying the land for the group, the alt you use in the group doesn't need to be a premium member?

Oh great suggestions, thank you! I actually stumbled on Templeton Cove this week. Didn't know that Junkyard Blues had rentals, def going to check that out.
Yeah, Junkyard has lots of rentals, very reasonable prices too. The best way to find them is to use one of the boat rezzers near the club and look around. The area near the club is pretty crowded. The further you get from the club, the more space you get. So which area you like most depends on what you prefer.

In keeping with this topic, anyone know of any rental communities that are more lake-side, country or forest? Not urban or beach?
Basically I mean a place where the owner takes the time to landscape around a theme but where you also have control over your parcel, etc. A nice example is the 'Neva Crystall' estates if you're familiar.
I actually have a great piece of mainland that I will never give up but I'm in the mood for some pretty. There used to be a ton of these kind of land rental communities but now everywhere I look it's all gigantic luxury style mansions or semi-urban family role play. I'm looking for a 'cabin in the woods' kind of thing.
** Feel free to send me a PM or IM in-world if you own a place and don't want to get in trouble for advertising. Also the 'social' aspect isn't a factor for me, just a nice theme as mentioned above.
You might like the Junkyard Blues sims, 9 connected sims with a Gulf of Mexico theme (kinda swamp-like), with a Blues Club, shops and boat rezzers at the center of the estates.
Another nice one is Templeton Cove.
Not all parcels have full controls though.

NEW THEME!! Beachy/Summery?
in Linden Homes
Posted
I hope you realize that these new homes will probably not being released till fall/early winter? Patch said that they will not do any big releases till after they are done moving everything to the cloud, because they have run out of new regions. He said that they might do a release of 2 new themes at once (the stilt houses and the next theme) in early winter.
Just to save you the disappointment of abandoning a nice home for nothing.
